  1. So you are all for doing whatever you can - as long as it doesn't affect you personally? ***Taking care of these things are comfortable things. The comfortable worry about this stuff. Yes, because we can afford to look more than a year in the future. Someone who doesn't know where their next meal is going to come from does not have that luxury. We have the money - and with that money comes responsibility. We can use our money to continue to destroy the environment, or we can use our money to make the world a better place. Right. (Hopefully you are not comparing yourself to a Haitian; that would be absurd.) You can pay twice as much for food and have your standard of living barely move. The Haitian, in the same situation, would be dead. Which is why we "rich people" (relatively speaking) have the responsibility to lead the change - both because we are causing the problem and because we can afford to fix it. I love it when somebody who is we'll off financially tell everybody else what they should be able to afford. Look in your checkbook and see what you can afford. You have no clue what I can afford. China supposedly has the biggest economy now what steps are they agreeing to. I mean they have the money. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  2. You keep bringing up shit..... so it must be an important thing for you I was just trying to help you understand why..... Sad that you actually believe that is what you were trying. I think the water supply is a major part of yalls problem.... I don't think that Columbia river has much less piss and shit in it. But you seem to enjoy getting your food out of it. 3. That might be fine for one or two logs, but I don't think it will last while I build an island. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  4. I use to do some desert riding on dirt bikes, none of witch had spedometers. My friend bought a Honda 500cc on off road. It had a spedo. After we got back from the first ride of the day and he told me he was doing 95 and could not catch me, I told him not to tell me how fast we were going ever again. I would have guessed 55 to 70. In the wide open without familiar waypoints to judge by your sense of speed can be off. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  5. I would love to have some of the Thompson sub machine guns police had 50 years ago. So overall it might look scary but not a whole lot of difference to arming, tactics that's another story and th problem. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  6. Isn't it time you figured out how to make a clicky? It's not exactly rocket science. Isn't it time you figured out how to give your views on gun control preciesly. Rather then dodging. Its not exactly rocket science. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  7. If that is the deciding factor. We are defiantly fucked. But If that is the qualifying point I have to go with Huckabee. But that is with that one datumn point. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  8. Oh I enjoy watching that it is amusing. The people involved on both sides the receiving and giving are doing it in mutual agreement. I would like to be able to test out a teaser. I have been hit by some serious electricity,And luckily have been relatively unharmed. So I would like to see how I could do. But what they were using is not a teaser And not as effective as one. So most cops have probably not gotten off on using one on people but knowing humans I am sure at least one has. Do you know of a way to make sure everybody complies by the law? That means everybody not just LEO. I will await your solution. And I am definitely not an LEO fanboy. I have had enough of their guns pointed at me. You know what I listened and cooperated with their commands and nobody shot me. Although they had guns pointed at me for at least 15 minutes. They must be some dumb cops to not be able to kill me quicker then that. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  9. Well being as how dead landscaping could lower a properties value by 10 to 40 thousand or more. If you were trying to sell would you let it die? And I am not saying everyone needs lush landscaping either. I have weeds, Brown and dry ones now. I never water. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  10. And we are still waiting on a source. Would let any of your students off without revealing their sources? Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
  11. In the long run, taxpayers. Maybe ammo should be taxed like tobacco, to reimburse for the costs to society. So another post tthat you throw out stats and expect people to believe you, but you won't say where they came from. Same old shit different day. 13. But I have been told a CCW would just add to the innocent casualties and would not be able to stop somebody like this.this guy must be better then most police he did not hit any bystanders. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle

  15. I could sleep in there and not know the difference. I wonder if you could feel the difference, though? All the vibrations around you would be missing; you probably clue into those, everyday, and most of them you don't notice them consciously. Things like if someone is coming up behind you, or a sense of alarm in the people around you, etc... Well yeah, in some ways. Depends on the floor. Sometimes the vibrations of my girls's running footsteps into my bedroom wakes me up before they start slapping me on the shoulder I'll also feel someone coming up behind me, again, depends on the floor type. What really startles me every damn time, never fails, is when I'm going up the stairs to my office at the machine shop I work at, and the owner's german shepherd (a really sweet dog) starts running up the stairs behind me. Always freaks me out for whatever reason. That reminds me when I worked for Dreyers ice cream. We had a building maintenance guy that was deaf. I was talking to a New hire mechanic telling him,the guy could actually hear and was just playing. The deaf guy was 15 feet away in an adjoining room. So I took a 10 lb sledgehammer and hit the welding table, with it hard. The deaf guy jumped 2 feet in the air. After that the new hire thought the deaf guy was faking it. 16. So in your eyes Bridgestone Arena is the NRA. Get your facts straight. You won't ever get straight facts from a German. I beg to differ. I have worked with a number of German's. Most we're verry good craftsman. Were descent people and gave straight answers. I won't slander a whole citizenship over one idiot. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle

  18. I never said it mitigated ANYTHING, but the statement is very true. If one looks at trends in all the recent "incidents" there is one very large reoccurring theme. ALL the recent situations absolutely would have different outcomes if there was compliance. In this case there is no mitigation of the situation, the officer was COMPLETELY wrong in his actions and will pay a heavy price. To take your analogy a step further; A pilot knowingly flies an airplane with a timed-out engine and it crashes, do think the FAA would cut him any slack from a causational standpoint? We both know the answer to that question. I'm looking at this issue in the same unemotional way, hard facts and factors, period. A pilot recently intentionally crashed an airplane (from all indications) and killed over 100 people, yet there is not a thread bashing pilots. This is no different, this officer just made my job more difficult. I'm curious to see his service record, there are usually red flags from previous incidents. This guy could be a "bad apple" or he could have made an incredibly bad and potentially criminal decision. The facts will come out, and I'll call a spade a spade if the need be. Either way this guy is done, and from all appearances should be. I am really sorry that this officer just made your job harder. Really I am. I am a lot more sorry for the individual that did not deserve to die. It happens to often lately for officer safety. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle

  25. Holy crap!!! Really?? Wow. Must smell of cat piss with so many of them - eeeeeeeeww!! Yes. 3 cats is a long way from 60 but this time last year I had zero cats!! So 3 is plenty and I won't be getting more. Besides, they are so purrrfectly happy together I wouldn't want to risk introducing another into the mix. Yep her house is one to behold. Thankfully she moved 2 states away about 8 years ago haven't had to smell it since. Handguns are only used to fight your way to a good rifle
