  1. At least drink a beer. Oh ya the food is now wide open for us all!!!!
  2. Thanks for the offer. But if I show the bartender my Johnson she usually gives me free shots. Then you don't need food. Dom
  3. What does she look like? Dom
  4. So what is everyone doing this evening? Me, I'm sitting in the Bombshelter drinkin. There is a movie crew here and we are all waiting for them to let us have some free food. Don't ya just love poor skydivers? Dom
  5. Lisa you must be bored tonight. That was funny though. Dom
  6. I'll be there for ya Lisa! This time I'll buy you a beer. Dom
  7. Simple answer to this one. Iraq has OIL. N. Korea has none. Dom
  8. Almost choked on my lunch! Dom
  9. Let hin enjoy his handy work. Dom
  10. I think you should shave your feet or tell everyone that you are a hobbit! Damn those are the furriest feet ever. Bet you could jump in Alaska barefoot. Dom
  11. What were the details on that? I was a Jumpmaster for two years and that was always my biggest fear. Just images of getting banged against the plane and being cut away and having to pull that fucking reserve. I always visualized my back snapping on opening. Dom
  12. Thanks for the clarification on the canopies. Thats why I said "I think". I haven't seen a halo jump since 97. Dom
  13. I agree and disagree with you. I think what they did was very heroic. At the same time, not to disrespect these brave men, it was also very stupid. But sometimes being heroic means being stupid! If you look at most of the people who won the MEDAL OF HONOR, the things they did where heroic and brave yet a lot of the time very stupid. The thing that makes them special is they don't think of there own life in these situations. All they care about is the life and well being of a person, most of the time strangers or people they just met. These guys could have took the safe and SMART way out and pulled at 2K. They didn't because they took on a responsibility the moment they took that student out the door. And they lived up to it even it the cost of there own lives. If my mother or sister did an AFF jump I would want them to be with that HERO! Wouldn't you? True it is your own life and you are responsible for it. But you also put a lot of faith into that jumpmaster as a student. As far as letting there training take over or letting a Cypres fire. If there training was working they wouldn't be in the situation, and since when are we supposed rely on a Cypres? Dom
  14. That is a bruise compared to a broken femur, crushed pelvis, and an eye popping out of you head. Yes, I have seen all these on one bad hook. Dom
  15. How is this one? I fall faster than snot out of a hot metal nostril! Dom
  16. I think Canopy restrictions are what we should be more worried about. More people kill themselves under canopy trying to do high performance landings than people who go in without an AAD. Aggie is just being a good neighbor. People are always trying to get canopies that they are not ready for. Just look at Bytches post titled "talking to a dead man" in general skydiving. We all need to look out for each other when it comes to this stuff. You asked a question that, honestly you should have known the answer to. I mean do you buy a 4x4 truck without knowing what 4x4 means? Dom
  17. Hell there is a girl that came to Perris W/spinabifida and a shit load of tandems. One of them was like a 10 way. She has a restricted A license, ans even bought her own used Tandem Rig from the school. Now she can jump anywhere she goes. While I lived in Washington I shot video of two different Quadrapeligics (sp). No reason why she can't jump! Dom
  18. Very true. I had a few friends on those jumps. I didn't want to give that hieght because I wasn't sure. Hell in WW2 there were stories of guys go out as low as 250 ft! Reserves are no good under 750ft. anyway. Why but on the extra wieght? Dom
  19. The Special Forces Teams I used to train with used GOLIATH 320's I think, maybe even bigger. They are used for infiltration at night with very small teams. They exit upwards of 20,000 ft., and open around 5,000 ft,(think) thus H.A.L.O High Altitude Low Opening. Dom
  20. Being an ex-military jumper I'll tell you this. First of all, in actual combat you are no higher then 500-600 ft. as you exit the aircraft. You want something that will open fast and be able to handle not only your wieght, but the 100 + pounds of gear you are carrying. Basically at that altitude and with that much shit hanging of your body round work the best. They are really only a break before you hit the ground. Also when you have a couple hundred canopies in the same airspace you tend to bump into each other alot. Sometimes even "landing" on someone else's canopy before you hit the ground. I'm talking way before you are ready to land. Then it is a matter of running of the guys canopy and hoping yours reinflates before you hit the ground. Try that with a Square! I don't think most squares would stand up to the wind blast off of a C-130 or C-141 at the speeds they dropped us at. Dom
  21. The sad thing is his "BUDDY" let him jump his 107 Stiletto. With friends like that who needs enemies. Dom
  22. Aren't we always silly? If I can just talk TOny into opening up a Square 4 in Fl. I'll ask for the transfer there! Did I mention. SHE IS HOT! Dom
  23. If you go to the square 1 web site and look in the picture gallery, you will see on by Craig O'Brian of a night time swoop that is one of the coolest ones I have ever seen. Dom
  24. Mine was kind of like Betzilla's. Don't actually remember the whole dream, but it ended much like hers. I fell flat and happy all the way to the ground, landed dead center in the peas, stood up brushed myself off and said "I'll never do that again!" THen everyone in the dream complimented me on my accuracy. Dom
