  8. Click Check this out. We lost our friend Claude (Bad Spot Bills brother) to cancer about a month ago. This is his ash dive taken on May 10th. Somewhere around 6k. The joke was on us, they gave us an intentional bad spot out of a Dc-3 from 13k. Serves us right for just climbing out. I guess the bad spot was one of his last wishes. He made it up to us by leaving free beer and dinner at the Bombshelter. I'm the one in the blue jumpsuit right behind the guy with the ashes. Calude only made one tandem but was a huge part of Perris Valley tradition. For those of you how have been here, he was the guy with the voice box driving the pick up and getting drunk at the end of the bar. We will miss you Claude, BLUE SKIES! Dom

  16. I live as close as you can without actually being on the DZ. It takes me less then 10 minutes to walk there. Still waiting for the right moment to land in front of my house. Dom
  17. You would be surprised how fast you come up with money to continue. Just don"t pay your bills, or eat and you will be fine. Don't laugh to hard, I know plenty of people in that boat. I may even be the capitan. Dom
  18. AD, Lisa was taling about me, I think. I compare the Pilot openings to the Sabre 2. Very nice! Dom
  19. Check out Skybytch's post. I have put a little review on there. Dom
  20. They are still in the testing phase right now. We have recieved some literature on them, but have yet to see one. It's going to be interesting to see how it goes. They are trying to give them to dealers and teams so they can be seen. I think at this point I will put my money into a Cypress 2. Cheaper may not be better. Dom
  21. I've donr my last 15 or so jumps on the pilot 150. It is very comparable to the Saber 2. Yes the openings are very much like the Sabre 2. It is a little less responsive using toggles, but the riser pressure is a lot less then the Sabre 2. Spend one whole day doing hop and pops with it, and most of those landings where downwind in about 5-8 mph winds. It was alot of fun. Got some nice swoops and very soft touch downs. It actually packed easier then the Sabre 2. I got hold of it when it had only a few jumps on it. I have to say Lisa is right about the colors. They are not like everyone elses. It is actually a darker yellow then a reserve, and the purple is just that pruple. If it wa mine I would shorten the bake lines a bit. Since I get to jump it for free I won't complain. All around it is a very nice canopy, and the price is right. We do have a 168 Lisa. It's just in Eloy right now. Dom
  22. I'm always here. I can't wait to put more faces to these crazy names. I'll join ya for a beer or four.
  23. Welcome back! I just came back from a 5 1/2 year lay off. I've made about 40 or 50 jumps since I've been back. Just like riding a bike. Enjoy!
