It's probably just got up somewhere. All military mail handlers get a mail card that is issued by the post office if I am not mistaken. I had one before but can't remember for sure. I don't think the post office can't get over on this one. Dom

It may be to late for you but here is a word of advice to anyone buying things and having them shipped overseas. ALWAYS USE USPS GLOBAL EXPRESS SERVICE AND INSURE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is far to expensive in most cases to send it UPS or FEDEX. They are the safest but very expensive. The Global Express option is trackable and the insureance is key. To be honest the USPS doesn't like to pay up when they lose stuff. They try and wash thiier hands of it once it gets to another country. Dustin you should be ok because, yours went to an APO if I am reading you right (military right?) The Psot office will have to pay up since it technically left the US Govt. hands. IT may take awhile to get them to pay it but you will get your money back. Usually they are pretty good about getting things to the APO's though. Did ya buy it from Ralph? If enough idiots kill themselves because they THINK are the "exception" that may just happen. Then you will have contributed to the down fall of some peoples passion. You don't sound IGNORANT. You sound arrogant. you actaully sound like every other guy with your jump numbers and thinks they are different then everybody else. THis is not a personal attack, but guys like you in general are a big problem for everybody. With your experiance level there is a lot more than just hooking that is going to hurt you. If you don't know what I am talking about then you really shouldn't be under that canopy. I bet I can get better swoops under a lighter wingloading then you can. It is not about how small the canopy isit is about the pilot and his skills. It is easy to judge someone with your experiance level and wingloading. I judge you a future statistic. Try feeling for them in freefall as well. They tend to shift in freefall and under canopy. I even touch mine during a track from time to time just see wear they are. Some times I may even look and reach (not grap) during deployment. Just to see wear they are. Good practice. Dom

Tell them to kiss your ass. You had a problem and you dealt with it! That is all you should worry about. Sounds like you will be fine. Your body went into auto pilot and did what you needed it to do. Sounds like you got trained right. After my first (and only) cutaway I was nervous everytime I pulled for the next month or so. You will be fine. Nerves are good for ya . They keep you on your toes! Have you guys ever seen the video from Somlia. I saw just a part of it years ago. I can't remeber if it was a Black Hawk or Huey, but the Pilot had one skid on a building and was half way out of the bird firing a weapon. I belive it was someone from the 160th SOAR just doing his job. Dom
