Hell, that was the second stunt she passed up on. I would have been pissed off as well. That was a MILLION dollars. He actually took it better last night then he did the first stunt she quit on. I would like to think I would have behaved as well as he did last night, but I would have been so made at all the jumps I coulda had with that money! Dom

That would be more a concern for me then anything. Imagine. Guy sticks bomb in rig. Hooks detonator to reserve cable, when the dumb fuck TSA cuts the cable which he will because........ well because. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM! There goes Ontario or LAX. Dom

Let me ask you this. Why the hell tdo they go and keep cutting peoples reserve cables? I have heard of it happening twice so far. That just doesn't make sense! Why would they cut something? Anything? That is first of all destruction of someones property I would think. Second, if they think it is an explosive why would they go cutting things with bolt cutters? I spent enough time around EOD guys in the Army to know that you don't go cutting shit unless you know what it is and why you are cutting it. It just doesn't make sense to me. Especially when your own agency says that the passenger should be present when they inspect his rig. Both of the situations I have heard of, the people weren't even there when they did the cutting. It seems that the most difficult customers that I get when it comes to canopy size happen to be either European or Japanese. They always want the smallest canopy, the smallest reserve. "How many jumps to you have?" "150" "What size canopy are you looking at?" "107" "Why?" "The canopy I have now doesn't scare me enough." All the time! Sad if you ask me. Dom

I am a bigger guy but never have problems withmy Infinity slipping around. Then again I never had problems before they changed to the narrow yolks. My main reson for not wanting them is all that I have heard about the harness input not being as good. As I work on my HP landings I can see where this is something to look out for. It does make you think about guys like J.C. and Jim and Heath and that bunch. They all have Odyssey's and doesn't look like they have a problem with the rings. Dom

Tempo's are great reserves. They have been around for ever and seem to do just fine. I actually have a Tempo 150 in my container. Theis first reserve I ever bought was a Tempo 170. Never used it, but it never worried about it either. Dom

Don't know how serious your eye problem may be. Just a thought. Will the 4 or 5 minutes of the jump really effect you that much? Or, put them in your jumpsuit and then put them on under canopy. The eye contact is worth it if you can. YOur eyes will only be in the direct sun for a few minutes at a time. Dom -
