  1. Fuck You!! Edit to add - at least Accuweather isn't real promising for the time frame that he'll be keeping us on the ground - "Clouds and sunshine with a thundershower possible"
  2. PD's jade is as close to teal as they get. It's not an exact match for teal cordura but it's close. Their turquoise is a bright blue (good match for electric blue cordura). I have a black center cell on my main. Jumped mostly at Perris, it has faded quite a bit in about 300 jumps - it's not grey but it's definitely not as black as it was when it was new.
  3. Don't. Lots of people, even some manufacturers, say it's okay to put one size bigger main in a container than it was designed for (I happen to disagree with that). Nobody who knows anything about gear will tell you that it's okay to put a main two or three sizes bigger than what it was designed for in any container. Not only would packing be a major pain in the ass, it's not safe. If you're not comfortable jumping a 135 main, a 134 reserve is too small for you. Ask a local rigger about putting a larger reserve in it; I think the answer will be no. This is not the right rig for you right now. I know it's tough to find gear that fits your body on a tight budget but you need to keep looking until you find something that was designed to hold the canopy sizes that you are comfortable and confident under.
  4. Happy sky b-day Steve! We'll be jumping (and drinking) at Davis this afternoon/evening; c'mon out.
  5. When am I not drunk? Oh man, all those arms! Yeah, I did him. And I'd do him again.
  6. You told me you liked slutty chicks. You said that was why you wouldn't hook up with me. Was that another lie?
  7. Me too. Especially for body contact activities. Get some of that canned stuff up your nose and you'll be smelling it for days...
  8. Sorry but we'll be jumpin' then bbq'ing and drinking at Davis tomorrow. Of course, you're welcome to join us.
  9. I don't understand why you'd want someone who could do that. After all, it takes more than three inches to even reach the uvula.
  10. I don't know. We still had the earplugs in.
  11. You both looked so innocent and precious while you were sleeping. We decided to leave instead of waking you so we could remember you that way.
  12. AFAIK, that's not what AAD's are designed to do. It is what the RSL was designed to do. Which is why I have both on my rig - the Cypres in case I screw up and go way too low in freefall, the RSL in case my main malfunctions and I screw up by cutting away low and don't immediately pull my reserve.
  13. Only when I'm dreaming about.... wait, do I really want to announce that on a public forum? Nevermind.
  14. Yes. When I first got a computer I had a huge ass. Really, it was monstrous. Way beyond ghetto booty. You'd think that with all the hours I've spent sitting in front of various computers at home and at work since then, my ass would have increased in size exponentially. But it hasn't. In fact, my ass has shrunk tremendously over these many years. I truly believe that ROFLMFAOing is the only reason my ass is as small as it is today.
  15. Much love to you and yours, Phil. See you when you get back.
  16. 6 to 3:0:0 Watched the Sharks abuse the Mighty Ducks on Saturday. What a game! Thornton scored the first Sharks goal at 21 seconds into the first period, Cheechoo got the 6th Sharks goal and completed his 5th hat trick of the season with an unassisted shot from the Sharks blue line at 2 seconds left in the third period. Cheechoo now has the most goals for any player in the NHL, Thornton now has the most points for any player in the NHL, the Sharks are solidly in the playoffs and I think I now "get" hockey. Then we stopped by a brewery on the Peninsula and had an awesome beer - MaiBock (smooth, went down easy and packed one heckuva punch) - with a friend. After that it was off to more friends house for the night. An awesome dinner, excellent intoxicants, kickass skydiving videos on a huge TV and wonderful people to spend time with made for the perfect ending to a perfect day. Big time thanks from both of us to both of you (you know who you are )! Woke up to pouring rain on Sunday. Slowly made our way home and spent the remainder of the day enjoying a raging fire and the Sunday paper. Today the dz is closed so of course the weather is beautiful.
  17. Same here. I figured it was because I'm using Firefox now instead of IE.
  18. Really? AFAIK most Cypres fires happen not because the jumper was "rendered incapable" but instead because they lost altitude awareness. AAD's aren't perfect. Neither are skydivers. Each of us needs to decide for ourselves if the additional risks of having an AAD on our rigs (and yes, there are risks involved) outweigh the potential benefits.
  19. I was reading in the Guardian today that he played in The City last night. I'm jealous. That's a show I'd have loved to have seen.

    Finally!

Mine have been done for months. Thanks for reminding me that I need to send them in. Now to figure out what to do with my whopping $30 refund.
  21. Oh look, a shiny thing!! Wanna go ride bikes?
  22. What? I didn't mention any names. But if the shoe fits...
  23. ...that some people shouldn't be allowed to have internet access.
