Have not worked with DVD studio pro yet but do you have access to the inspector you will be able to change anything there, rotate 180 degrees for example, I'm still banging my head against the table with Motion2 and Final Cut. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Numbers shows that people quit skydiving before they get to 500 jumps and is because they get bored and it's not exciting anymore for them. I been there and I think most of the people I know it's been there. I believe that you should set your goals and try to reach them, if it's wing suit them go ahead work on deploying stable, the deploying sequence using a wing suit is different and probably the most critical moment of your skydive, is never to early to practice those drills, if is freefly the discipline you're seeking, try to get some exercises or drills you can do while flying solo, with your jump number I believe you're probably want to fly with people doing two ways etc and sometimes difficult because experience or more experience people than you don't like to jump with people with less experience cuz is not a challenge for them anymore, I think is normal to be in your situation. There is a whole universe of skills and knowledge to be discovered in front of you starting with the very basic skills of deploying stable, landings, flat tracking, moving forward backwards side ways on your belly then F.F there lies the excitement of skydiving you establish your own learning curve it's not about other people it's about you, people won't be around to help you on your first cut away or emergency. You remind me of a friend that just started skydiving and with 20 some jumps she told me she was getting bore about just exiting the plane and doing solos all the time just working toward a license requirement that she did not even knew if she was going to use we did a bunch of jumps in the couple of weeks follow to that comments I even remembered how to belly fly in that time, we had so much fun she was learning how to move forward, backwards side ways fly her back etc I had fun just watching her smile through the skydive, after that she told me she was interested again about the sport, interested about learning as fast as she could, solo jumps are a challenge for her because she knows now how much she needs to learn. Don’t rush things just because you’re trying to make it more exciting that’s when accidents occur. Hope it helps http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Yeah...I notice my Live type is choppy after so many layers but I can still work with it I have the same power book you described (G4 super drive 1.25), now off topic, since you brought the idea of the perfect set up what would you recommend??? http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html
-
Quade... do you think it will work on a powerbook G4 or requires the dual processor that the G5 has?? thanks http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

I was thinking the same thing if there is only ten I have known them all!!!! not that I think I will reach that jump number ever unless something really good happens to me soon http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Does anyone had any experience with motion2? is it a stand alone application? or requires Final Cut, is it compatible with FC 4.1??? I checked out in the apple store looks pretty wild. Thanks Carlos http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Back tracking is tricky most frequently you'll end up headdown or with a good pitch loosing precious altitude before pulling, I won't recommend back tracking in the beggining she should practice backtraking with plenti altitude or when she develop a good sense of altitude awarenes. Your descriptipon of the transition from sit to back track is accurate, I don't think it applies toa begginer. Do some 2 way jumps with people that freeflies and they will make separation from you in the beggining while you get it down sort of like jumping with a begginer belly flying it will be his/hers responsability to track from you until you get confortable http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

I like the Nitron too I have a 135 but not really good for long swoops It has a really short recovery arc, for good swoops crossfire2 or even CF1 I got lot of lift from my CF 159 and is bigger than my nitron. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Quick question, do you happen to have an example of the letter you sent to FAA requesting a demo jump? Thanks http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Use manual setting zoom your lens all the way out and to infinity, what these means is everything will be on focus no matter how close or far, the icon in your sony to infinity is a mountain it will show on your screen tape the focus ring with gaffers tape so wont move during the freefall, recommended is the use of a wide angle I use diamond .3 for freefly and .45 for tandems and rw that does not mean I wont use it for FF either depends on what do you want to achive. I f you dont use manual focus your camera will try to focus different things on freefall. play with the settings of your camera like settings for fast sports or still imags you will get different results for instant, if you set your camera to record fast sports and video the props of a plane you could see each blade going around other setting will give you a fan looking circle. Sorry about the wording but I'm in a hurry. Later http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

[Someone with a happy, fun personality, not someone with the sort of attitute that is "above" you because you are just starting out and they are a lord of the sky, or whatever. Someone who makes it fun, as well as improving your learning and teaching you/quote] Totally agree with these statement I had paid up to $35 without the slot to skygods for coaching just to get the I'm better than you crap. I have found that those good coaches sometimes Load organizer or friends are willing to share their knowledge for free they give you things to work on what they saw jumping with you sort of like opening you mind to things you have not thought thru. I still pay for coaching is an excellent way to learned, tunnel time with a good coach is priceless, the only advice witch it was mentiond before, stay away from big egos. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

About brands is up to the person buying it and some DZ culture plays a role, what did you like about the canopies you had the chance to test? whats your exit weight? If you ask my opinion I think Sabres 2 are and execellent canopy to start, PD reserved seems to be the best in the market aldo I have a Raven in one of my containers (save my life once too) the other one is PD_R The most important factor to me selecting equipment is your wing loading under a main and reserve and the container should be freefly friendly no flaps flying around even if you're not gonna try FF for a while just for the peace of mind that flaps won't come out with the ocasional front loop or back loop or whatever, I would stay away from riser cover with velcro and used equipment that is not FF friendly. Now that is just me ask around. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Start off with a: container cypress main canopy reserve canopy Tha is the bare minimum to do a skydive. How much do you weight will determine your wing loading and the size of your canopy. do a research about what canopy have you fly so far and what do you like dislike about it and talk to your instructors, maybe you want to go with RSL and the different types or option for containers. Thats a start http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

I can't believe it's been that long since the last time at Pahokee, Happy birthday you guys rock!!!!! Carlos http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

think about it this way, as the pilotchute pulls your freebag out the container the space between the last stow and the risers is actually more speed and strengh to pull the lines that are stow the least space you leave you get more risk of having line twist than somebody who leaves the recommended lengh. More than that becomes a risk of having tension knots or line entaglement with each other, remember when you pack you leave the excess of lines trying to make "S" shapes then you place the freebag 45 degrees on top of these lines as you push the bag to fit the container those lines move and rubber against each other wich could be a problem whae your canopy is too small for the container since allows more movement of the bag against the container and more lines rubbing against each other. Conclusion not too little and not to much space just the right amount. Maybe somebody will put ot on simpler words. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

Alter in what way??? shortened the lines? shortened the stabilizer??? change to a removable slider ??? what's consider illegal??? http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html
