I just got it yesterday and I have seen it twice so far, I planned my base jump for this winter but i don't think it will be posible, earlier next year wiil be. I just received a copy of the video continum II base jump and I recommnded for everybody intrested in base or not but that's not the point , the point is I think a good chunk of the movie was edited with slick trasitions and it looks very professional something that will pass as it was made with Final Cut or a more professional software. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html

I agree with all the suggestions post it, the one I like the most is try with 2 ways and progressibly work your way to larger groups, why?? you ask, I had this happened to me with experience skydivers. Three way HD the #3 FFlyier could not keep up with our speed and even this persons position was HD was also high in comparison with us, I track on some sort of HD carving to track position happened that I was tracking under FFlyer #3 while this person was still HD, tracked for about 7 seconds waive and start my deploymnt, to my surprise I saw FFLyer #3 as I look up to video my opening, first as a small dot getting bigger until goes belly and start deployment too like 50 ft from my canopy, Hit my canopy passing me by 2 ft this persons lines and canopy deploying hits my canopy almost totally inflated at this poing and this persons canopy opens a 100 or 200 ft from where I was. You may say is bullshit, sounds like, right, but I have it on video pretty scary and is the scaries moment so far not even my cut away was that scary, I did not have to chop my canopy collapse and made a 360 and fully inflated, it was a crossfire. My mistake and I don't wanna talk about other peoples mistake was not track on my back to clear the air space above me the 180 degrees manouver you heard about in the others post, since not always you're gonna be able to see everybody during your skydive. Learn on small groups Learn 180 degree back track Very important while Freeflying. I saw my Jedei fly away after cut away, lost the canopy, the funny part is a friend told me this before jumping " What sucks about airlocks is they keep fliying after cutting away" my answer to that was " I'm never gonna cut away no worries" that jump had to cut away, that's beside the point. I was talking to Chris from Precision canopies he told me the same thing they had to chase the xaos everytime they test the canopy when they cut it for testing proposes, I know the xaos is not presisly airlock more crossbraced but keeps a decent amount of air preassure inside the canopy. In my limited experience with airlocks, I think they are more responsive and in consequence more agressive, don't know about how the canopy on low wind loadings, I'll say long recovery arc but I only try my long lost Jedei for that matter, A defined down is after you cut away ( please dont' say you never will) they remain open and fliying and that's how my story ends with airlocked canopies and my first cut away. I have seen threads about Macs and how some of us use them to edit our footage, I found this transitions packages and what used to take me a long time to do on Final Cut takes only seconds with this ones just using Imovie, then I just import the movie to Final Cut for a more professional look, check how easy is add blur, or use the video as a Black board. pretty cool. Advice from my lawyer, go to court the radar gun has to be certified, the officer got to be certified to used the radargun, he's got to remember details about the incident, if is not a trooper who stop you, you got a pretty good chance of getting away with it. I just found a software called "slick" transitions and effects that you can do that on Imovie for Mac the cost is $65 and you got to have a Mac. You could create a reel on your movies with up to 60 clips. I was considering in getting "Motion" complement to Final cut pro, but let's face it - Imovie is so much easy, I still use final cut or livetype for the more complicated project and export to Imovie just to not complicate my life so much. Does anybody knows the waiting period for a brand new container from mirage and Vector (Micron) not many options or fancy stuff. I'll be selling my equipment to get a brand new one and perhaps pay for some damage to my condo after the hurricanes, so the waiting period is crucial. It will pass, my girlfriend lives with me and she used to give me crap about going skydiving every weekend blah, blah you know the story, I had a couple close call the past year, now she is happy giving me a kiss before I go. Anyone knows how to enlarge a picture taking with a digital camera? or if you know the picture you're gonna take is gonna be enlarge what formatt do you use ?how many pics could you take using that formatt? I have a Rebel ti but I can'y find 50 or less ASA to take pictures I would like to enlarge. Any software that can change the resolution of a picture perhaps Photoshop? I don't see how a weekend jumper can be a good investment to be sponsored, there is really not enough promotion of a product you can do just in the weekends or without a title world champion or something. In the other hand, I found a gear shop and dropzone that paid for my jumps while training with a 4 way team, with for a competition, just the free t-shirt was enough for me, the free jumps was a big plus, then of course they were not that many, I guess just the fact that somebody think about you and I'm still a newby (just over 400 jumps) to sponsore even if is just for a competition is a good thing. http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html
