    We all know that there are instructors out there that shouldn't be working with students. For all we know you may be one of them. Your posts in this tread and others I have read lead me to believe you have a personal problem with someone and it may or may not be related to his status as an instructor. It also appears you are trying to walk a fine line of attacking someone without one of the moderators catching on. If you have something you want to say have the balls to come out and say it. Your continued sneaky backdoor tactics are starting to make you look silly. Jmo. I happen to know Stratostar and he is just what he appears to be, an old school jumper who has been around awhile and knows a bit about the sport.     Any replacement for the split slider is slower and more prone to cause problems. Yes they are. More people have died behind a miss-rigged hand deploy than a split slider. In fact I am not aware of even one. Lame, can be said about any piece of gear. Again lame, again goes for any part of the packing process. Fashion has never saved a life but it has cost a few.     There was a method to allow your lines to open up long before there where mini risers. It’s called a split slider. You get the added performance while maintaining the original 3 ring system design. But I guess it is not viewed as “cool”. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

    Do not, I repeat, DO NOT follow the advice of people on the net when your life is on the line. At 20 jumps you shouldn’t take time to punch or “elbow” your container.
