    Well, you can't claim that the buyer wasn't warned. What I find truely amazing is that someone paid $400.00 for a Cypres with only 4 years of useful life left. When you consider that you can get a brand new Cypres for $850 or so it just doesn't make sense....     I remember when I graduated AFF, I jumped a lot in the cold. Then the year after that I jumped a lot in the cold, though not quite as much. This year I don't plan on jumping much in the cold at all, it's time to replenish the fundage for next year.

    You're right, it probably is more than I expect, or hope. What I do hope for though is that during the assembly they pay a bit more attention than they might during a regular I&R, that may be too much to hope for as well unfortunately. For what it's worth, I trust my rigger to do a quality job, I guess we all do though.     That's doesn't sound right. I've got a Safire with probably 400 jumps on it and the label there is just fine, it's a little faded, but still easily readable. I can't imagine that PISA uses some radically different material for the label that degrades as much as you are suggesting after only 90 jumps. It just doesn't seem right... On the other hand, if your rigger agrees that the canopy is in good shape and worth the asking price, is there a problem? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

    The Viper is a fully elliptical canopy and I believe one of the earlier Atair designs that eventually became the Cobalt. I believe the progression was Viper, Alpha, and finally the Cobalt.
