Yet another false assumption. Maybe he meant 'skybirthday'? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks for that .pdf file from the Earthquake Research Institute. My mom sent me the first commentary by Doug Copp a few months ago. I sent her back the rebuttal by Snopes. Your addition to the discussion was very informative. Thanks again. I passed it on. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

An Amazing Performance For The Popes Birthday!
ltdiver replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
While attending the high school I did, we performed that exact arrangement many many times for the public. (musical emphasis school) Sometimes I was in the band, doing the accompany (french horn)....sometimes in the choir, singing. Each time it gave me goose bumps. It's a beautiful rendition. Thanks for the memories. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Perhaps. However, I happened to catch a look at the new brake pad invoice before he carted them off to install them. They paid $79 to the dealership for something I paid only $40 to them for. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I think we would need pics of said body to determine if it was a factor. Haven't snapped any pics since my shoulder injury in January... Can't hold a camera up yet. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Just got back from the mechanic. (long story, but I'll shorten it here)... They tested the sway bar. Negative. They tested the tie rod. Positive. However, I'd had the dealership test the car the day before and they'd ruled negative on the tie rod and diagnosed the after market brake pads! Pads installed by Goodyear in December of '06. I had the two mechanics counsel together (dealership and Goodyear, where I'd had my brakes done 15 months ago) and the Goodyear mechanic swapped the left and right front brake pads. The sound vanished! Seems that the after market brake pads have a larger tolerance than car manufacturer brake pads. Since the brake pad warranty was for 16 months they honored it.

I've learned to not click on anything from this thread from 5:00pm on, cause people start posting things that I have to wait 3 hours to see here in CA. Sure glad I waited for your post, sir. Yeah, I thought it was Brook's time to go, but guess they like block cords better than flat notes this week. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks for taking the time to find these. Hadn't thought of doing a search for their albums. I'd only heard that Carly and David Cook had CD's out. Guess anyone with a bit of funds can have a CD made...it's the marketing that makes it work, though. After listening to the clips that Amazon makes available, I'd have to change my (personal) view of a few of the artists. Now, that I've heard 'what makes them unique, in their own style'. David Cook--Sings too much in his head. It sounds like the power is there, but it's muffled by his style of singing. Perhaps that's how a 'rocker' is supposed to sing? Yet, his voice isn't pure. It's stifled. Carly--Pure and grabbing your soul. Sure, it's of a 'pop' variety, but her vocals are clear and moving. Guess it was the poor marketing that sold only 300+ albums of this CD the first year. Now, with the exposure of AI it should take off! Brook--Too bad her album isn't there for listening to. The reviews are positive, though. Don't know what they meant by her "rocking the piano'...She's a simpleton that plays 'block cords' during her performances on AI. Maybe she's better in the studio? Kristy Lee--Can this girl hold a tune? I'm sorry, but although her voice appears nice and 'easy listening country', her voice goes flat in a number of places. (okay, I was a music minor at the University I attended, so I'm hyper critical). She's young, so perhaps her voice will mature later in life. She's still very young. But get some voice lessons, girl! Michael--Another pure voice. I hope her makes BIG TIME there down under. He deserves it. After hearing this recording I change my votes to the 'final 2' of him and Carly. Know it won't happen, though. :^( Did you find any other recordings of the Top 10 (sans AI) for us to listen to? Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Nope - they pick up the station when not plugged in at all as well. I have to hold it to my ears, but it's there! At Perris one of our AFF students SWORE he heard (through his radio earpiece at 4,000') Taco Bell down the street asking "Can I take your order?". ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Discovered this on youtube this afternoon. For those in the UK, you've probably already seen this (hot woman's) group. Not sure when they performed their debut on the show, but thought it'd be worth sharing. David Cook, you've got competition! Scala btw, what does 'Scala' mean anyway.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I guess those who would post on the recent SNL comedic spin from last night's episode are still sleeping this morning. IMO it was some pretty funny schtick. Found this one, though, which is almost as hilarious. SNL is sure having fun this year! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_OJMexBQes ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
