There is a reason that skydiving instructors do -not- teach their close friends and relatives to skydive. There is no way they can stay completely objective when they're that close to the subject. Perhaps there is some philanthropist out there who can financially help you, Jo. But it's like listening to a one string orchestra to hear the same thing from the same source without external back up. Except bring to the table a non-passionate and objective understanding to the evidence. An outside, non-invested party might develop more understanding to the mound of information and perhaps sum it all up differently. Or confirm. Interesting topic. Today's my 12 year skybirthday! 12 years ago I was a sedate and ordered woman....just going through a divorce. Now, 12 years later, skydiving's got under my skin and my thoughts are more wide open then they've ever been. To keep out of the political conversation and controversy (that will for sure send this to SC), the simple (personal) changes since starting skydiving are (in this order): --started drinking coffee (yeah, I -was- completely innocent enough to not have even tasted this!) --changed my white Acura for a red Mustang! --started drinking beer/wine (thanks to another skydiver who introduced me to that) --got a tattoo --pierced my ears Go ahead and laugh, but in my bio family upbringing those are HUGE changes (and 3 of the 5 changes they still don't know about). And I wouldn't change it for the world. The view is alot happier and colorful than ever before and I have my skydiving family to thank for it.

Well, you're just going to have to suffer!!! Just kidding... it was the Sway bar link on the left front... Thanks for the thread. My car has developed something similar to what you describe. Metal on metal noise (like quarters hitting together) when it travels over uneven surfaces. Left front only. I took it to the mechanic and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Interesting that they compare the Suburu WRX STI and the Mistubishi Lancer in that demo. I seriously considered buying either of those cars back when I had to replace my totaled Mustang in 2003. The only reason I didn't is that BOTH of those cars would have instantly gotten me into serious trouble right off the lot. I LOVED the way they drove (the WRX more than the Lancer), but had to discipline myself and get a rather fun (but safer) car at the time. The Eclipse GTS.
