Ditto. Originals are, on the whole, the better version of any story. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

For those of us who wish we were in Eloy, but can't be...

Maybe we all should join you in FL! Look at the 10 day forecast for Perris! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
The past 7 years results in skysurfing. Let's not forget our friend Valery Rozov, who after losing his cameraflyer came back to take Gold in the X-Games that same year--1998. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yep, that's the way to do it. Airlines allow one carry-on and one personal item. Thankfully my rig fit the first definition and my camera helmet the other. I was all prepared to 'adjust' my definitions if needed (if they disallowed one item ) and wear my camera helmet as a hat! Well, they say you can -also- bring a coat or hat as additional carry-ons!

A different idea... I buy the regular logbook (that has 2 jumps per page) and just log all my jumps for a single day in one block (1/2 page). That give me 2 days/page. Done that for years and it works great. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

At first glace this appears to be a good idea. However, think very hard before doing it....a cameraflyer above you would be pretty pissed if one of those little heat packs finds its way out of your suit into the air stream! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yeah, that helps alot when the weather's cold up top. Those latex gloves tend to make your hands sweat, though. So, Ev, if you want to save yourself from the sweaty-palm syndrome get a pair of glove liners. I found mine at Sport Chalet. They're great! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Need to work on the cardiovascular endurance this year. Got myself the 26" version of THIS. Anyone want to get together and play in the mountains?

In medical circles this is termed a protective mechanism that allows the body and mind to heal without the memory of the trauma interfering with the recovery. Sometimes this can be a good thing, as the body can only handle so much before it psychologically breaks down. Other times it is a physical trauma that takes that part of the memory away (I lost almost and entire 24 hours of memory after my horse-related injury. Still haven't regained the memory 16 years later). It's not intentional, either way. It's a way for the body and mind to cope. Nothing wrong with that. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Embryonic Stem Cells May Not Be Needed Anymore
ltdiver replied to ltdiver's topic in Speakers Corner
No apology necessary. My point is not whether or not it is killing. The embryos are going to be "killed" regardless. Why shouldn't we use them for research, with the donors' permissions if necessary? I'm not apologizing. I'm stating what I believe to be fact. For me, either method would be killing. Period. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Sheesh! If you're going to admit "seeing Darryld last night" at least spell the man's name right! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Embryonic Stem Cells May Not Be Needed Anymore
ltdiver replied to ltdiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Yes, I know all about this study. The rats were able to 'walk' in some kind of fashion, but it was akward and almost dragging in it's gait pattern. Still it was/is impressive. However, don't discount this new find on adult stem cells. How cool would it be to find that a bit of damaged spinal cord could be taken and mixed with fat stem cells and placed back inside the human spine....and to see a paraplegic get up and 'walk' 2 weeks later. Many benefits, including not having to fight the ethics issue at all! It would pass by our legislature in a flash! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Love the pic! The expressive eyes. The left hand placement. The two front teeth you got for Christmas? Now seriously....Wonderful depiction of the fun we have in this sport! Grins! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Embryonic Stem Cells May Not Be Needed Anymore
ltdiver replied to ltdiver's topic in Speakers Corner
An historic report here. I'd much rather use -this- product to heal damaged bodies than what has been trying to push itself through our legislature this past decade. We have plenty of this product here in American, too! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6727466/ ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
It's spelled Darryld. And SBS....sometimes those who give and give and give need to hear they're appreciated. I know that Darryld and the L.O. guys really don't hear it enough. Unstable....nice to hear you think so highly of Perris and wish to spend Summer 2007 with us. Who knows what wonderful additions will be here by then! The DZ just keeps adding things for our enjoyment every year! Welcome! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
