-
Hmmmm, Dork numbers? lmao AggieDave Dork #1 ouch!

Whoa there.....nay on the gay. It was CHEAP! Can you say poor, suffering skydiver? Can you say a rig that's jumpable, and quite fun (Sabre 135 @ 1.34) for under a grand? Would you stoop low in the color department if it meant you could jump instead of watch?

Well,ok, this post is work safe, but this link is NOT. You want boobies? This'll keep you busy for a couple of hours! http://wickedweasel.com/index.asp Have fun, and don't forget your kleenex. Wonder if any skydiver-like chicks own any of these swimsuits, and if they might model them at Rantoul....

Gladly. He was one of those I met on the internet. Hell of a good guy. Drinks ALOT, and I do mean ALOT! But a damn good instructor. Now, the other people that know him do tend to think he's a dork, and I admit, he can be at times, just never in the air. Seeing as I have drank with him on numerous occasions, and seen how dorky he can be, I was hoping it didn't rub off. Damn, too late. Been jumping my pink canopy in my pink trimmed rig, with my pink pilot chute. I must be a dork too.

I was, um, trained by Peanut. Does dorkiness rub off?

And it takes quite the talent (or stupidity) to post on both, and not get (seriously) flamed on either, WITHOUT posting anon.

My names Reverend James Manny, and I sit here all day staring at Paula's bikini picture. Lol, seriously, I molest young altar boys. Oops, no, that's the Catholics. Actually, I run drugs to New South Wales....hold it, that was my previous life, before I got gunned down. No, I'm an over the road car hauler/truck driver. No, that's not it either. I changed that last week. Now I'm a local dump truck driver up here in Wisconsin. Yea, that's it! That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

2:0:0 Driving local, and being home does have its advantages Other than that, I'm saving my pennies for Rantoul!

Am broke , but might be a good investment. Best one I ever made.

Nooooo, it's just fine the way it is (except for the possible addition of leg straps, as has been said). If anything, show MORE booby!

In most cases..... I have shown up at the DZ, whip off the work boots, and slip on the Tevas......

Can you say "dead"? Seriously though, glad that reading was without you still attached to the gear!

Hmmm, according to that, a Velocity 96 or a Vengence 107 would comfortably replace my Sabre 135. Nice to know, in the waaaaay far off future.

I've read through the replys to your question Dave, and it looks to me like it has just turned into yet another CYPRES debate. I'm not going to get into that, it's just not worth my time. You asked for specific opinions, and here's mine. I started jumping as a student with Sentinals (Hi chris), and moved to CYPRES equipped rigs as I finished my training. Since being cleared off student status, I have had the pleasure of jumping many different rig/main combos. Some have been AAD equipped, some have not. I used to say "If it's there, I'll turn it on. If it's not there, well, I don't have to remember to turn it on!" That I cannot say anymore. Last year I made 4 jumps one day at Skydive Illinois. I was using rental gear, which all Has CYPRES installed. My third jump I had a hard pull, and ended up going to silver. The reserve cleared my back at about 1500 feet, and the (student) CYPRES did not fire. For a first reserve ride, it was enlightening. Shortly thereafter (after finally finding the freebag), I got back on the plane to do it again. Another rental rig. At about 5000 feet I realized I hadn't checked the CYPRES. After a quick gear check, it was discovered it was not turned on. Did I ride the plane down? HELL NO! I got out like any other jump. My rig that's sitting here next to me does not have a CYPRES, and, in fact, is not even CYPRES "ready". To each their own. This is an inherently dangerous sport we so thouroughly enjoy. Educate yourself. Fully understand the pros and cons of your decisions (and not just in CYPRES matters). Remember, every time you leave that door, you are committing suicide, and it's up to you to save your life. Don't rely on anything. Had I become complacent on that 4th jump at SDI, I would not be sitting here writing this, thanks to a CYPRES.

Thats it.......The Sabre 2 is an awesome cnopy, but not for me!

This sounds like a very good Idea to me Yes, but as I did this weekend on my Sabre 135 (not a 2), do 'em from up high. Really put the canopy through its paces. Wring it out. It's just not possible to do that at low altitudes. My 2 jumps this weekend were from 8,500 and 10,500, but both had deployment started by 8 grand, for time to play before the ground became a VERY important factor. -
To me beauty comes from within. I have yet to meet a single female skydiver I didn't find quite attractive. It's like the desire, drive, lust for life, ect. come shining through. Some of their whuffo, tag-along friends though.......sheez

Gonna let us know in advance when you're gonna solo? Video cams will be ready for that shirt cutting....

You used the "F" word, so you answered your own question....time to buy!
