Got 4 nice snap in lead weights with the rig.....'bout 8 pounds or so, I'd say. Haven't jumped with 'em yet though, still getting the canopy dialed in.

I'm actually getting the hang of sits and stands. Haven'tt really attempted head down yet. (The rig is a late 80's Vector II, and the velcro ain't the greatest). Anyone got some baggy pants I can wear, so I get SOME drag on this body? (155 or so, and almost 6 feet....corking is quite easy for me!)

Congrats! On the new packer thing..... Start teaching as soon as you all get home, trust me on this one. Don't wait till age 8 like my daughter....she expects to get PAID now!

Haven't done that. Although I was just surfing around and found a couple interesting pages. I think I might try and find a metal hood!!! One without the huge dent in it.... That's what the net is for! Use it! Besides, what better do you have to do while at work?

Anyone else read that? What happens when you use the word never, Clay? And since you "never" cork, it's obvious that you "never" have. I do believe this will be a case of beer you shall owe! (Anyone who even attempts to fly with me will most likely cork. It's impossible to fly right when laughiny soooo hard.)

Well, the year does help in the ability to find cheaper parts than what was quoted by your mechanic. Have you tried looking on line for used replacements, that are usually quite cheap? Even if you don't do the work yourself (though I would), it would be alot cheaper to just pay for the labor, than the labor and the inflated parts prices

Gotta take what you can get, when you can get it. I'm sure I could have found a not-so-colorful rig/canopy eventually, but then again, maybe not!
