Have fun. I hope you will, though a few Vegas residents I know drive to Perris and Elsinore to jump, saying Jean has turned into a tandem mill too. I wouldn't know, as I personally have not been there. Check out http://www.lvgravityzone.com/fun.shtml for any more info you might want.

Works awsome HH! Finally, a weather page with WINDS!

1972 Chev heavy 1/2 ton p/u. for $50. (My cousin put new tie rods in it, and got sick of blowing tires....ever heard of an alignment, idiot?) 250 inline 6 and 3 on the tree. Hadta change that! Built up a strong mid 60's 283, backed it with a muncie rock crusher 4 speed. Man that truck would FLY! Had a long commute, so I sold it to get a vehicle with higher mpg. Sold it to a farmer who wanted to give it to his 16 year old son (I built it when I was 16, sold when I was 18). I warned him.....alot of power.....he said his kid had been driving since he was 8, no big deal....so I sold it. Kid promptly wrapped it around an oak tree less then 2 weeks later. Man I STILL miss that Midnight Black w/ Red metalflake truck, and it's been almost 14 years!

To the Cessna Boogie in Minier, IL? I'm trying.....gotta twist the wifes arm pretty hard to let me leave for another weekend.... Cessna 182s, like going back to my roots (I started at a 182 DZ). Sure, only 10,500, but it's only 8 bucks a jump! Hope I can make it!

Saved "The Rack" to disk awhile ago...

How do you know that... Altar boys.... Personally, I like the Altar girls....

Um, where's the handles? Oh, yea. This poster has been for sale on Ebay for at least 2 years. Must have a shit load of 'em.

I see, and I understand. Well, nix the cheap camera bit, and nix the camera bit totally for awhile..... Gonna need a bunch o' cash....might as well get a top o' the line Sony right away. Let's see, by the time I can afford that it'll be about 2005.....

Time to show my rings.... The particular song she is asking about is: If you like Pina Coladas By Jimmy Buffet Now I Really feel old. No, you're not showing your rings, Jim, you're showing something else. "The Pina Colada Song" is a medley of Rupert Holmes' hit. OK, I'll put it away, it's scaring the women away from its immense size.... I bow to you, master of the older music. The only variation of that song I have ever heard was by Mr. Buffet.

Don't do it!!! If you plan on skydiving with it....Don't. I have seen at least three JVC's that just plain broke. The internal parts just won't hold up to skydiving. But, but, but.... Where am I gonna get a Sony for that price!?!?!?! ($150)

I've got a line on a used, first generation JVC Mini DV. Good enough to play around with for now. All I have left to do is try and figure out how to come up with the extra $150.

Yea, the profile is right. When I started skydiving, being a video dude really interested me, and still does. I lurk. I play. (I float). I still do want to be a vidot, but, damn, I still need a camera!

Like the chant in the Entertainment tent at Rantoul, preceding a short video clip.... Fat Chick! Fat Chick! Fat Chick! God was that funny!
-
It was previously female owned and jumped......the leg straps smell quite nice....
-
Who said I was heterosexual? Oh, yea, I did! I just jump it during the day, and the ladies at night, to re-affirm my masculinity...

Cheap, nicem and useable gear. That's all I cared about. Loading the Sabre at 1.4, it flys SWEET! Yea, it's pink, but at least it's not Neon pink, and it's got teal ribs.....that helps.....a little

I died once, but I'm ok now. Go ahead, laugh, flame, whatever. Heat stroke on a 9 year old is NOT a good thing.

OK, a select few of you have seen my canopy now, and like the nice people you were, there was nary a single snide comment about its color. Quite a few frinds wanted to see this "Under a grand" rig. They said, "No way! A Sabre 135, Vector II, and Cricket 145 reserve under a grand?". I say yes, Container and Main-$500, Reserve-$349, Shipping, inspection, assembly, reserve assembly and repack, and adding a BOC pouch-$100 and a 12 pack of beer (yet to be consumed though). Downside? The only one I could find is it needs a re-line. That will be done at PD in December. Here is myself and my buddy Billy Wood, after my landing on my last jump Sunday, the last day of the convention. (Gotta love that no-helmet, windblown hair look...)

Dude! You've got mail!

Me? Unique? Hmmmm..... I'm an ordained Reverend, a Rodriguez Brother, Skydiver, occasional heavy drinker (Skydiving related only though), shy, a tease, a womanizer, married w/4 kids I really love, and I manage to post here and on rec.skydiving without getting flamed for it on either one.....

I would ask, but I don't even have her yahoo/msn/whatever screen names.... LOL, that's ok, I prefer to see nekkid women in person

Ahhh, the Group Membership program. You know as well as the next (And probably better than most) that the fact you pay the USPA a fee to be called a "Group Member" makes you no more or less safe than any other Drop Zone. All you get by being a Group Member is: 1. You get your DZ listed in Parachutist and on the USPA website. 2. You agree to abide by the BSRs. (Most, if not all do anyway, you just signed a piece of paper stating the fact.) 3. You agree to REQUIRE USPA membership of all non students/tandems, and encourage it of the the rest. Pray tell, how does this make you safer?
