Huh, what exactly did you hear that is not rigger friendly about mirage ? I can't find a thing about my mirage that wouldn't be rigger friendly. Some complain because the spring is really strong and that the wedge shape makes it to hard to control. There are lots of tricks to make both of those a non-issues.....I mean if I can pack it, anyone can pack it. Fly it like you stole it!

Well, all the cool chicks are doing it. Truthfully, if it is something they are going to do once a year they will probably have more fun skiing. Snowboarding takes a bit more to learn, but it's easier to get good at. While skiing is pretty easy to start, but harder to get good at. Fly it like you stole it!

As a small girl with not as much upper body strength as Hook has, when I got my Mirage I was worried about being able to peal and pull the handle so he added a bit of hook velcro to the bottom of my handle to kind of "prime" it so it's easier to peal. Fly it like you stole it!

Dual Shower Head To thank me, just send me a pic of you(just you, not you and merrick!) getting good use out of it... Mike So I go running into the bathroom to see if one of those would work......nope, stupid shower head doesn't come off. Stupid apartment, just another reason to buy a house. Well I got the flu back in Sept before the shot was even being given out. I'm not planning on getting it either since the flu bug that is kicking it in Denver this year isn't even covered by the vacine (it mutated after they had already made it). Plus I would have to pay for it myself, so this would be my 10th year in a row with no shot. I usually get the flu during the odd parts of the year when I do get it anyway, such as in the summer. Fly it like you stole it!

No it's a K2 Kandi 142, but it has a lot of stickers on it. And I have no ass which is why I have to ride a small board. Fly it like you stole it!

Hook and I played hooky today and went snowboarding. The resort had over 10 inches of snow overnight and it was definately a powder morning. Of course by afternoon it was a bumpy ride. I need to get Derek a digital camera so there can be instant pics of me. btw...in the last pic Derek is actually pulling me down the mountain by my snowboard. Fly it like you stole it!

What kind of job are you looking for. My company is hiring, so if there would be a fit I'd be more than happy to put in a good word for you. Also, I have Mondays and Tuesdays off and have a couple of other hobbies that can be done during the week. I live north of Denver, and I can drive up to Fort Collins once in a while. If you wanted to spend some time in Denver I have a couch you can crash on if you don't mind the dog the cat and all the rigging crap all over the place. Fly it like you stole it!

Mine has 256mb, right now I have 50 songs on it, and it's only half full. So I'll go with being able to put at least 90 songs on it. Only takes 1 AAA battery and supposedly can go for 14 hrs, I'll be happy with 10. CF MP3 players are the way to go. I did a ton of research before I bought one, and with the easy of adding or removing files I just don't see the need for a HD MP3. Plus with the small size you can wear it anywhere. I just bought an Evolution Bullet 256MB MP3 player. Bullet This thing is tiny. The reason I got it though was because the USB connector is part of it. All I have to do is plug it into one of the USB ports on the front of my PC, then drag and drop files right to it. The computer thinks it is just another data drive. No extra software needed. It also has an FM tuner and can do several other things, I haven't really played with it much though. Off your list I would get the iRiver or the Rio. The iPod I've heard from several people doesn't hold up well to snowboarding falls and the bouncing caused by things like jogging. Fly it like you stole it!

The odds of your canopy collapsing is greater in a dust devil than in any normal turbulance. By going into half brakes you are basically putting your canopy in the same configuration as when it opens with toggles stowed. This in turn allows your canopy to re-inflate faster than if you had the toggles all the way up. When it comes to dust devils though all bets are off and your best bet is to avoid it. If you want to do a multi-pitch or 2, I'm sure it can be arranged. Personally I'm not planning on doing anything like that, but there will be several very experienced climbers who may be interested in it. You may need to work with them though to make sure you have all the required gear. Fly it like you stole it!

Rosa we will be bringing 2 dynamic ropes and a static rope. Plus I have enough gear to choke a small horse, so we will be good to go on 2 routes, heck we could even set one up for just lead climbing to keep it challenging. Plus video of a few wippers is always good. Fly it like you stole it!
