The otter in my pic??? It's one of Larry Hill's otters from Skydive AZ, there were 2 of those badboys a skyvan and a king air from Hutchinson, MN.

I decided that since there wasn't any that I liked out there besides the dakines, and I'm not about to spend more for a pair of pants than I did form my RW suit with all the bells and whistles that I would make my own. Found a basic pattern that I liked then changed it some for different colored panels and such, right now just waiting on the lemon trim tape from para-gear. Derek sewed the panels together lastnight and I pinned al the parts together, they are going to look sweet when done. Of course it does help that Derek is a rigger and has E thread and knows how to sew seams together and all that stuff....I'm going to have to start calling him my seamstress.

ummm...I'm loading the 104 at 1.2-1.3, as to what conditions it's suppose to go off in I'm not sure. I know on those jumps that I was opening high, the 1st warning (4500) never went off, the 2nd (2500) one did, and the 3rd(1500) one never did. Actually one of the times when it went off I was trying to get back from a bad spot so was just flying over to where I wanted to be for my holding area before starting my pattern. As for the 20 m/s I have no idea what the +/- is on those, or why it is doing it at your WL. Email the Mfg, I'm sure they could shed some light on it.

Actually you know my car (Mustang GT with a V8) uses more gas at 55 than 65. At 55 it doesn't run very well in 5th gear cause the RPMs are so low, and well in 4th they are really high....when I had my intake manifold replaced they set the mixture to run on the lean side, I get great gas milage now, something like 25 miles to the gallon, but the down side is it doesn't like low RPMs very much.....so guess who is going to be speeding alot.

Actually when my marriage was falling apart I read the book men are from mars, women are from venus. It really does give you some good insite on both men and women and why we react certain ways to things our partner does. I wouldn't say it's a good relationship book, but a very good book on the psychological aspects of the individuals in a relationship.

GREAT!!!! we were a little worried about you jumping the safire 189 in Derek's J4 this weekend, but you won't have any problem with the switch especially since the safire had a mod done to it that makes the flare 10x stronger, and will leave you with very soft openings. Can't wait you meet you and Pam Kelli

I think it's normal, it didn't happen before I got my 104, but now I can set it off if I'm spiraling, or doing anything that is really making the canopy move.

Kris I don't know how far Dallas is for you, but Hooknswoop and myself seem to be up there atleast once a month if not more. PM him, he may be able to work something out with you. He was starting a canopy school here in Houston, but that ended up not working out with us going to Dallas so often.

Actually I think most people are just saying don't do it all in one step. There is 0 harm in doing it in 2 maybe 3 steps. The downsizing isn't a bad thing, going to ZP can only be a good thing, but why add in the 3rd of an elliptical in one jump. What would be so wrong with him doing a few jumps on a saber 170 then the next weekend jumping the heatwave or stiletto or whatever. If nothing else it will help him re-adjust his sight pictures for landing and figure out the new patterns he has to fly. But than again I don't want to see him hurt cause I want to be able to pick on him in person in Eloy and well maybe if he is nice jump out of a balloon with him.

Actually if they got their ass in gear with some public transport like the light rail that they are "building" I would sure as hell use it over driving. I mean it's an hr and a half drive down to Derek's which is ~70 miles from my house. I would much rather hop a light rail in the woodlands to downtown than downtown to clear lake and have him pick me up down there. Heck as long as that trip cost less than $10 one way I'd be saving money just on gas alone. I know a ton of people in the woodlands that would use it, especially if you see the amount of people the woodlands transit takes downtown every day for $7 one way, plus the hours are very limited on that bus, and well it's a bus..I would much rather take a train.

I saw one at skydive Dallas the other weekend, it was very flimsy. I'm not saying it's any worse than other helmets, but you could flex the whole thing with your hands and I'm not talking a little bit. I don't know what size it was, but there didn't seem to be alot of paddig in it. As for comfort, sorry I didn't try it on.

I take him to the vet to get shaved that way they can knock his "I know how to fight with all 4 paws" ass out. But this month Fox had annuals so Mem has to wait until next month to get shaved.

My cat is currently sporting that hair do in the first pic.....he is a persain and due to winter I let his hair get long, well it got matted and last night I decided to cut the mats out..... He is funny looking now.

ok you all are evil...I was perfectly happy with my 3 year old system, figured I could suck at least another 6 months to a year of life out of it, but NOOOOOOO..... Now I want a new system and after look at all the models out there will probably be buying myself a Dell in the next few weeks.....ACK!!! My tax return was suppose to be the last payment on my car not a new computer!!!
