    hey my rig will finally be ready to pick tomorrow, i was gonna go tomorrow.. BUT ntrprnr happens to be in town and since he's too busy with clients to get up to the dz and jump i'm hangin around to have lunch with him... SO.. THURSDAY i'll be goin up to skydance to grab my rig and i'd love to jump.. so anyone wanna skip work and jump with me?

    i know, its been a hassle.. i just dont know if i want to take the time to pack this laptop back up and send it back to ibm and all that crap, if it was as easy as takin it to a store then i'd do it, but i dont think i can do that

    ok, so I got a new laptop and the standard system it came with was the new windows vista, so I didnt think anything of it, I didnt change it to XP professional like i'm used to, I figured they knew what they were doing and it'd be all good, right? WRONG i dunno, but i just dont like this vista crap, half the programs i want to run wont run on it, i cant install my adobe acrobat that i have bc its not compatible, and i just plain dont like it.. grrrr, i think i actually want to send it back and tell them to put XP on it, just so i dont have to deal with the hassle anyone else annoyed by the vista?

    yeah, my partner and I practiced a LONG time.. but it was worth it, that was the 2nd time we got to perform it and it's so much fun.. slightly ironic that i'm in the CG and the song we danced to is called "viper" and is all about smokin pot.. oops

    surprisingly squeak, the ankle feels fine.. i wonder if i shocked it into feeling better, i just slapped a bunch of bengay on it in the transition area when i got off the bike and the run was fine,

    Well that might be part of the solution, but I also live with a rigger Shhhhh. I was trying to get her to make a SNOT appearance. If she gets the repack, ... whatever. I'd show up to the SNOT event tonite.. BUT i'm PERFORMING again TONITE... you could all watch if ya wanted too..

    so i was all happy that tomorrow i was gonna go jumping bc i'm actually in "day" mode and awake during the day, so I get my rig out to pack my main.. and what do I notice.. my freakin reserve is one week out of date! grrrr, cant believe i forgot to set up a reminder on my computer.. i feel like such an idiot now.. no jumping for me.. just driving up to the dz to drop the rig off and feel more like an idiot for not jumpin in the beautiful wx we'll have tomorrow

    no it wasnt an exchange.. but it was awesome, lots of classes and comps, it was one of the best times i've had in a long time, dance all day dance all nite =) though i have to say, whoever planned the "sexy moves for women" class at 9am was not a good planner.. i totally slept through it, hopefully they didnt teach anything i dont already know or use in my dancing already and yes.. we totally have to go dancing sometime
