    OMG, two weeks at a training course and NO INTERNET! How pathetic am I? I felt so disconnected from the whole world! missed lots of stuff it seems like... got lots of catching up to do... so what did i miss????

    All the DZ Women. Come April or so, we'll put together a DZ Women panel, and they'll have the final choice. I think SkyMama should lead the panel of judges, but that's her call. oh I want in on this panel!!!!!!!!!1

    well i'll be working both nites before the race.. so not much rest i'll get, and unfortunately we're short on qualified watchstanders right now, which is why i have an unqualed partner.. if he was qualified then i'd have a chance to get some rest, i just cant afford to take that much leave, i'm hopin somone will cover for me to sleep a few hours more.. we will see.. should be interesting thats for sure

    Ok, So I want to run a Sprint Tri on Sunday Feb 11th at 7am, BUT.. I dont get off work until 5am which means I'll have basically been up since 3pm Saturday afternoon.. should I still run it? or will my body really hate me for it? I've been trng for it, then they switched my schedule on me and I cant really afford to take leave to run it i'm leaning towards going for it.. am I crazy?

    I know isnt that such crap.. you're too sick to actually go into work and ya really just need to stay in bed.. but to do that you have to drag your ass outta bed at the butt crack of dawn to make the early sick call hrs.. to just be given a damn chit that says you can have the day off.. but first you have to drop the chit off to your boss.. then by the time this is all over.. most likely 10 or 11am.. then you can go home and have the day to rest... what crap!! (thats what happened to me last time i went to sick call)

    yeah...well some people get the day off ... i'm on watch till 5am.. but i think my office has the day off bc i dont have to prepare an ADM's brief tonite

    um yeah.. she's definitely not that bright if she thought she wouldnt get some sort of reprimand for those actions... unfortunately when the govt owns you, you are required to act accordingly... both on and off duty... she should have known better, of course it was the link to her in uniform that did her in... i'm inclined to say her punishment would have been less severe if there was no link publicly to her and the AF... so its her own fault i'm sure we all have incriminating pictures out there... at least i'm not stupid enough to have any taken in my uniform!

    Gonzo, I agree, a lot of reservists arent always helpful especially if they arent qualified and if they only come in once a month they've been out of the loop for so long they spend the whole time catchin up and then get no work done, luckily we have 1 reservist at my unit that is very helpful, we all fight over which wkd he works bc that means we get time off

    cheesy you must be sleepy.. tryin to turn my thread naughty most of our reservists arent qualified so when they drill i could care less bc I still have to come in, but this LT is awesome, and is qualified, so I got the call that said hey come in a few hrs late today
