this is why i'm mad.. i cant really take breaks since i'll be the only qualified person here.. i'm stuck... usually when there are 2 of us here, we can take a workout break or walk around base for a bit if we are tired....

its doing a lot of work on computers, i cant reveal much, but lets just say at least 50% of the time there is at least enough work for 2 people to do work.. on a class computer and an unclass computer.. so now i have to monitor both systems all the time!

Ok, so many of you know I stand a watch, 12 hr night shifts to be exact, and my watch consists of 2 qualified watch officers in charge of the floor (I fill one of these) So, I got off the phone with my boss last nite, and he's like, Kelly, i've decided to permanently GAP you on the watch! (which means I'll be the only qualified watch officer, no partner) which we ONLY do in rare circumstances, when short on folks. So now, basically until July, EVERY time i'm at work, I have to do the job of 2 people!! and he didnt even sound like it was a big deal 5 watch sections, i'm the only one that now only has 1 officer, grrrr, I just think its crap that he wasnt at all concerned about it, taking away my watch partner and not giving me one in return.

same here, the whole watch was just about to order dinner and we remembered two of us were catholic, and on top of that the first place we tried took fish off their menu, so we had to find another place ... i'm already feeling the catholic guilt bc i forgot to go to ash wednesday service what did everyone give up for lent? i give up sweets every year.. which means no chocolate or ice cream... and for all you that know me... thats a BIG BIG deal.. i eat at least 5 chocolate bars a week and at least a half gallon of ice cream a week too, and usually a piece of chocolate cake , so these next few weeks will be hard for me!!

and hey scott, I may actually be able to make that one.. depends on when the military decides to get me my stuff from moving, bc i have to be in DC by the 28th at the latest, so we'll just have to see, but i'll let ya know

well you live in michigan, i'll be in the midwest for a week or two in july (as i stop home in ohio before moving to dc).. so if there is a race in the midwest in july, lemme know and i'm there!

thanks scott, the program i'm starting today i'm actually using a woman's tri trng book i bought, doing the workouts listed for every day, they actually seem kinda lite to me so i'll be doing more than whats listed, so we'll see, i may end up training for the olympic distance even if the sprint one is what i have in mind, i'll PM you if if i have any questions over the next 2 months

i agree with gravityjunky fuckers, i hate commercials! jerm stop bitching about "no options" start up your own satellite radio company and we'll use yours but in all seriousness i'm sure another company will emerge.. its inevitable

ya know i dont really care, as long as the price doesnt change, and no more freakin "commercials" sneak in to the damn stations.. does anyone else notice these stupid commercials sneaking in on what is SUPPOSED to be commercial free stations!

scott, how the heck do yo uhave time to train for them? i'd train for an olympic distance one, but i have a full time job.. (and a few other hobbies) i really can only afford max 2hrs a day to workout

i know, and he's dancing lindy hop, (not like a 21yr old) but still movin great, it was so awesome to be taught by him, shit, if i can move like that at 70 let alone 93 then i'll be happy

ok, so if you know who he is you'll think this picture is cool... i just got done taking a whole weekend Frankie Manning Workshop, it was awesome! learned some cool stuff, I love dancing! The man is 93 yrs old and still rocks! !!! and heres a pic of me and him!
