    i'm pretty sure it was about 20min.. which is slow for me, but the borrowed wetsuit didnt help my speed at all bc i wasnt used to it, and i zigzaged in the open water because sighting ahead isnt my best, so i think i ended up doing 1100yds at least

    peter, top 20% is GREAT! I still havent seen the overall results so even though i medaled i really dont know how many women were in my age group... and you kick my butt runnin everytime we run... BUT i did run the fastest i've ever done yesterday.. the 4mile part of the tri i ran in 28min

    what's crazier is the winner's of the race finished in like 1hr 20min (male) and i think the overall female racer ran it in like 1hr 33min... crazy! ...

    Holy crap, yeah... I somehow did good yesterday at the Angel's Camp TRI.. I placed 2nd in my age group.. sadly lost first by 10ft I was trying so hard but she came past me in the last 100yds and I just couldnt keep up.. so at least I have a good goal for next race.. 10 ft btwn me and first place in my age division is a lot of motivation! My time was 1hr 44min 10sec for the 1000yd swim, 16mile bike and 4mile run

    I had the same conversation with coworkers at lunch yesterday, b/c I thought theirs wasn't nearly bitchy enough. It ended with the decision that I should be the voice. I would be happy to tell you that your a dumbass for taking a wrong turn.

    i was driving home last nite with my dance partner and we were discussing the idea of not just voices.. but personalities.. Like.. i want TOMTOM to tell me i'm a dumbass if i make a wrong turn and he has to redirect me.. it would provide hrs of entertainment, or if you dont like "give it to me straight" TOM TOM, you can DL the "nice" tomtom, where he's like "it's ok, i'll re-direct you, it was my fault for you missing that turn.. as for me, I would love the personality which just tells me i'm a dumbass if i make a wrong turn, ...ahh endless possibilities...

    LOL.. i chose KEN as my voice too... I wonder if its the popular choice for the women? all my friends who have one from work are guys and i have to sit and listen to them gloat about 'mandy" as if they were in love with her.. its pretty funny actually

    so after a car ride with a coworker last week, and with a few others who also have a TOMTOM, they convinced me to get one, which is also not a bad idea considering i'm the most directionally challenged person in the universe, (i get lost in my own backyard) AND I have to say, TOMTOM is AWESOME.. i know have an Australian man named Ken giving me directions while i can see perfectly where i'm at on the screen.. its TOTALLY cool

    ok, so i switch my plans to go skydiving today so that i can meet up with the good ol' friend peter.. and what does this kat do? NOT call me like he said he was gonna.. peter, you owe me lunch and dinner now i guess i forgive you bc i know how adhd you can be sometimes so this thread is just so everyone can give you shit for standing me up
