  2. The Album: Solid Air by the late great John Martyn. The lyrics to the song Solid Air are: You've been taking your time And you've been living on solid air You've been walking the line And You've been living on solid air Don't know what's going wrong inside And I can tell you that it's hard to hide when you're living on Solid air. You've been painting it blue And you've been looking through solid air You've been seeing it through And you've been looking through solid air Don't know what's going wrong in your mind, And I can tell you don't like what you find, When you're moving through Solid air. I know you, I love you And I could be your friend I could follow you, anywhere Even through solid air. You've been stoning it cold You've been living on solid air You've been finding that gold You've been living on solid air I don't know what's going on inside I can tell you that it's hard to hide When you're living on Solid air, solid air. You've been getting too deep You've been living on solid air You've been missing your sleep And you've been moving through solid air I don't know what's going on in your mind But I know you don't like what you find When you're moving through Solid air, solid air. I know you, I love you I'll be your friend I could follow you, anywhere Even through solid air. You've been walking your line You've been walking on solid air You've been taking your time But you've been walking on solid air Don't know what's going wrong inside But I can tell you that it's hard to hide When you're living on Solid air, solid air. 4. Take it outside, line up a few cans or bottle on the wall for target practice. But dont just lay out a constant stream. You gotta hold real tight then buid up the pressure and let out some high velocity bursts. With practice you'll be able to hurt someone. BP

  6. The music industry just lost one of its 'unsung' greats. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7858458.stm I only discovered John Matryn's music 18 months ago and loved it. Went to watch him for the first and only time just 2 months ago. His music brought me to tears. Very sad day. BP
  7. If they are part of the problem that you are trying to fix (like excessive swingarm play) then remove them and do a full inspect and replace where required. If it is just maintainence then run your fingers around them and feel for smoothness. If your happy, then leave them in. I used to run penetrating spray in to mine to clean em up. But that spray can attract and retain dust and dirt real easy, so I would dry them out as best I could then pack em with grease. BP
  8. When I was reading the OP I got to "thick accent" and thought to myself. "I bet Shropie will have something to say about this". I finally scroll through the thread and here you are. BP

  12. This film opened here last week and maybe the UK cut is different but this film is AWFUL. Predictable and a bit of a let down at the end. Maybe I had high expectations as I love in 'Pursuit of...' All I kept thinking of was the 7 pounds admission fee I had wasted on this rubbish. The next day I went to see The Wrestler. Now that is brilliant film, brought a tear to my eye and I will probably watch it again. BP
  13. Is this the guy that Ryan Seacrest attempts to high five afterwards? clicky BP
  14. Had 3 weeks off of training over Christmas and cos I had a really bad flu. But back at it now. At the moment I can not do any impact stuff so I'm doing 7 spin classes a week. I am doing great, apart from almost passing out in Tuesday's 2nd Spin class because some 'lady' in the class was ass dumping SBD's (Silent But Deadly's). And worse, all the girls thought it was me cos I was the only man in there. BP

  20. The problem with love is that more and more people are beginning to apply more and more conditions to love. Maybe it is to do with the world we live in today bombarding us with messages that we can have just about anything we want and we should not settle for anything less. I dunno. Nowadays, when someone says "I love you", more often than not this means “I feel good about you, together we can do great things and I will suppress all negativity toward you. But, only as long as you are nice to me, don’t do things that I do not approve of and you allow me to start to control your behaviour to how I think it should be” It is quite rare to find the sort of love that could be termed as unconditional. That no matter what you do (within reason) you will not be loved less or more. How do you know if you love someone? The answer may lie in how you would feel if “your love” broke one of your conditions. But it is more likely to be answered by seeing if you have any conditions at all in loving them. BP
