Have to quit... why is it so hard??
bluepill replied to skydv's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You can only do what YOU think is right at the time. Whatever your decision is, your gonna look back and say "wish I had never stopped skydiving" or "If only I had committed more to the relationship". Better to regret the things you did than the things you dident do. -
well Im not bored, and I dont need to be here, but Im taking time out to say Hi right back at ya. I feel alot love in this room.

Life insurance for skydiving?
bluepill replied to andrewstewart's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Andrew, I think it depends on whee you are from. The comments that tbrown make may be OK for the US, but the beyond contestation wouldent work here in the UK. In the UK you are bound by 'Utmost good faith', which basically means that not only must you disclose any facts that may affect risk at the outset of any policy, you must disclose any changes in your circumstances. Regardless of whether you think it afftects it or not. This applies to just about every type of domestic insurance in the UK and failure to disclose 'can' invalidate your insurance. If you are from the UK, then I have a link that might help for skydiving insurance. Mike -
If you scroll through that at about 25 lines per sec you can see something very very interesting indeed.

Too much Gel in your sticky up hair and constantly contorting your face into skydive "skeletor" face will do it. You sure your not subconsiously doing this

I'm going back to AFF next week.
bluepill replied to TheBile's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I have created the Voodoo Bile and Karma dolls already and they are sitting under a UV lamp right now. In addition to that I have started doing my ancient summer 'sun dance' at midnight and will continue to do so everynight for the next couple of weeks. What more could ya ask for Good luck dudes -
I was expecting this show to be crap but I was quite impressed with it. There was definatley some very good exposure for skydiving. It was shame they dident show more of the skydiving, but what they do show was very good, what with putting in a bit of "noise" and they even ad a bit of in-free fall feedback - I.E screams I hope the next show improves on this. But as someone has already said, skydiving in primetime TV is good.

A skydiver is anyone who willingly throws themselves out of a plane and goes into free fall. It doesent matter if they are a student, tandem or on a few second delays. There is no such word or term as skydive passeneger
