  1. I'm sure you'll find someone to sell it cheaper...there always is. But we do have them in stock and it would ship out immediately as we answer the phones and e-mail 7 days a week. For whatever the heck that is all worth. Mike ChutingStar.com
  2. Good god. Nice! I think the ad software is on the fritz...it was supposed to be $289. Mike ChutingStar.com
  3. Contact the owner/manufacturer of the HypEye D Pro. His contact info can be found here: http://gethypoxic.com/ Mike ChutingStar.com
  4. Look closer...there should be markings...usually in a very faint ink on the JVX linesets, but they are there. We've done several, but it does take a bit of time to find the marks or get used to the contrasting color of the mark to the line. Mike ChutingStar.com
  5. And I buy my gear from the Ranch Pro Shop. Yeah, baby... ChutingStar.com
  6. Well how about that. Nice! Here's the link: http://www.goprocamera.com/index.php?area=2&productid=24 Sonic is my hero... Mike ChutingStar.com
  7. According to Reinier at RCB-Lab, which manufactures the Zkulls, they do have a system, but they are currently refining it as they aren't 100% happy with it. In the meantime, they do offer this option that can done with the Zkulls: (Written by Reinier) I attach you pictures and you will see how easy you can convert the GoPro mounting foot (which is included in the Hero pack) at close to 0 expense. All that's needed: - remove the double sided scotch from the foot - place the foot on the Zkulls Insert - mark the 4 holes for attachment - drill a slight sink at the top side of the foot (so the camera can slide into the mount as it's designed) - attach it with 4 screws - sand down the corners of the Hero Foot (it is bend downwards and it needs to be flat at the bottom of the foot so the ZkullsTM can click in) done We are waiting for the HD to come out to see if the plastic case is still the same. If the case changes, we might be able to offer a different economic attachment solution. The LAB is just finishing another solution to front mount the HERO using the top mounted ZkullsTM. This one will hopefully be done by the end of next week. Best regards Reinier ChutingStar.com
  8. My latest order confirmation this morning showed a serial number of 50008. So it's out there...someone has SN 50000 in their inbox. :-) Mike ChutingStar.com
  9. L&B has announced the release of the Solo II, Optima II and Viso II. We just received a packet of info on all three, similar to what they had shown at the PIA in February. It'll be a few weeks or so before dealers have them due to the number of orders, but this is the new water resistant version. Mike ChutingStar.com
  10. I spoke with PD a couple of weeks ago because we too have several (11) Optimums on order. Some jumpers have opted for standard PD reserves and will swap out later...others just cancelled orders so I'll have extra stock. Oh, yay! :-) Anywho, when I spoke to reps at PD a couple of weeks ago due to some additional orders, they said it still was out of their hands and they don't know when it will receive the final FAA approval. It could be days, weeks or months... Mike ChutingStar.com
  11. It was for a Javelin Odyssey, Precision Fusion, Precision R-Max, Cypres2, full assembly, shipping and/or free jumps at the local drop zone if being picked up. Mike ChutingStar.com
  12. If you already have a Rawa helmet, you'll need the Rawa CX100 side-mount box to mount to the side. Rawa side-mount boxes match the slight curve to the side of Rawa's helmets. Most other camera boxes have a flat side and don't work well with Rawa helmets. The box comes with a pre-drilled hole for the HypEye D Pro mounting, whiich you will have to also drill into the Rawa helmet is putting this together yourself. Half of the plug fits in the box, the other half in the padding inside the helmet. Personally we're selling about half and half of Cookie and Rawa helmets for the CX100 camera setups, and then many of the boxes only for FlatTopPros, Vapors and NVertigo-Vs. Just depends on your helmet preference...and how much you want to mount...and which helmet fits your head size/shape best. Mike ChutingStar.com
  13. Yes it will fit...just a tad tight, but nothing that will damage the container. We just finished putting together a G4M3 today with a PDR160 and Sabre2 170. I recommend the M3 size for those wanting a 170-150-135 range in main canopies. Mike ChutingStar.com
  14. You mean Silibands or Silirings? If so...here are some links: http://www.chutingstargear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50_54&products_id=603 http://www.chutingstargear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50_54&products_id=602 Mike ChutingStar.com
  15. Nice...now get that order on its way to me! Mike ChutingStar.com
  16. Yes It has a pre-drilled hole for the HypEye D Pro to connect through. But the connector doesn't fit inside the box like it does on the Cookie helmet...if that's what you're asking. Mike ChutingStar.com
  17. The ROK helmet can be setup with a top-mount camera box/attachment, but not a side-mount attachment. The side of a ROK isn't flat, and they don't make any adaptors for side-mounting to a ROK. Here are some of the items you'll need for the setup. Liquid Flatlock w/ROK Adaptor Blackbox for camera Standard Chincup or Cutaway Chincup You may also need/want camera indicator system such as CamEye II or HypEye D Pro. Depending on which camera you use will dictate which system will work for you. As for the wide-angle lenses, the Cookie lenses work great for standard cameras. But if going with a HD camera, you may want a HD lens such as a Raynox or Century lens. As for the assembly, Cookie provides great instructions. So if you have a drill and/or a dremel, it's a pretty straight-forward install. If you would rather not try to work through all that, you can send it to us and we'll do the assembly. 18. Para-Gear: http://www.paragear.com/templates/base_template.asp?group=183#L5805 And I have Rawa's version on order, which are shown here. They are marketing it as a flat-top release as it won't work with their side-mount boxes yet. They are working on some changes to make that happen in the future though. I will have more photos/info as soon as my first shipment arrives: http://rawa.com.br/ingles/acesso_base.htm Mike ChutingStar.com
  19. Cookie: It's the same box for side-mount and top-mount. Just the side-mount has predrilled side-mount holes. So this box could be converted from side to top-mount at any point. The camera is secured in their Blackbox with a camera screw through the bottom of the box into the camera. Rawa: Two different boxes for side-mount and top-mount. The top-mount can be top-mounted to any flat surface. The side-mount can really only be mounted to a Rawa helmet since the side-mount box has a curve to it to match the curve of Rawa's helmets. The camera is secured in a Rawa box by the pressure of the closed box as the box is the exact size of the camera with a 70 battery. Rawa's boxes are slimmer from side to side. The box is not setup to have the HypEye D Pro contained within the box, just plugged in through a hole. Cookie's and Rawa's boxes are the same length. Cookie's Blackbox is setup to have the HypEye D Pro contained inside the box along with the 70 battery. There are photos of both on my site. Take care, Mike ChutingStar.com
  20. If it is writen "CR123A" in the manual from the producer, then use only CR123A. Or call Argus and ask them if it is OK... can't ask a better source. Willem is part of Aviacom, the manufacturer. http://www.argus-aad.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=16&Itemid=31 Mike ChutingStar.com
  21. The camera is secured in the box with a screw through the bottom into the camera. The CX100 Blackbox from Cookie is designed to fit snugly with the HypEye D Pro plug filling up the side and then the size 70 (mid-size) battery filling in the back. Mike ChutingStar.com
  22. Does anybody know if the DRX will be available to retro fit on a G4? If/when it does get released...and if it is in the format as currently designed...it would be retrofittable into G4 and G3 containers. Mike ChutingStar.com
  23. We use a Reflex as part of our rigging school. The new riggers here are inspecting and packing them. They are also learning about the service bulletins for them as well as making the reserve loops. They were popular in Atlanta for a couple of years, so we do see them fairly frequently. I have one in the loft this week. Mike ChutingStar.com
  24. I received my Sensei 81 with the ZPX and 350 HMA on Monday and made a couple of jumps that day. The local swoopers are passing it around this week to try it out as well. Just a few quick notes on my impression on the canopy after those jumps. First, I currently jump a Comp. Velo 84. But jumped Velo 90s for the past 5 years. I'm 210 out the door with weight. Openings were much better than any cross-braced I've jumped. Very measured and even. My first impression is that this would be a great canopy for jumping with my video setup (which I had to do on my 2nd jump with it). But I've only been slammed a handful of times on my Velo 90 over the years. I didn't have a removable d-bag/pc/slider on the setup. I'm sure that is affecting the performance a bit and will need to add that setup to get a better comparison. But the front/rear riser pressure seemed fairly similar to a Velo. I started my 450 turn at about the same altitude of my Velo 90 on the first jump and it seemed to have the same dive and plane-out. The only surprising thing was that it stalled immediately when I transferred to toggles...I did just get on the bank of the Farm pond to avoid drenching it and myself on the first jump. The brake lines did seem on the tight side up high, but didn't notice an early stall point in full flight...yet coming out of rears at the end of the swoop and then to toggles induced a quick stall. I've lengthened the lowers 4" and will try that out later this week. Mike ChutingStar.com
  25. Cookie will do any color you want. You just have to provide a photo or color sample. So long story short, they don't really have any standard colors except for the Carbon Fiber finish. All colors are custom and to the shade you desire. Mike ChutingStar.com
