  1. Oh, hell yeah! Sounds fun to me...last round with a blind fold? Or maybe one tool taken away each round? Good times... ChutingStar.com
  2. We have all those parts in stock. Shoot me an e-mail at gear@chutingstar.com or call me at 770-445-4000 on Monday. I just don't currently have them listed on our site. Take care, Mike ChutingStar.com
  3. from their web site ...A check will be sent to you for the sale price once the gear is sold, minus the inspection fee (varies by number/type of items) and commission (15%). so on a $2500 rig you're giving up $350+...or in this case, he's going to paying that much more. to the OP...just send money if you want the rig, it might just save you a few dollars. just my $.02. These fees refer to us selling used gear on our site and in our shop. That reference is listed in our "How to Sell Your Used Gear Here" section on our site. That is for people who don't want to sell their gear on their own and want us to take care of the entire selling process for them. There is no fee for Escrow Services where we hold the money/gear to facilitate a used gear transaction. We do charge for inspections, if needed, but those range from $10-$60 depending on what's being inspected. No charges for just holding gear and/or money to verify both exist. For info on how buying used gear through individual sellers, see our articles listed here under the Buying Gear headline: http://www.chutingstar.com/expertadvice_en/ Mike ChutingStar.com
  4. You'll need to redo your measurements before calling Jeannie as your torso and leg seem off. You want the shortest distance from your hole-in-throat to the very top of your hip bone. And then the leg pad measurement starts/stops at that hip bone point, and travels around your leg as if it were a leg pad/strap. 5. Yeah, nothing different between the two models except: Size of canopies that fit inside the range containers in that model. Micron for smaller canopies and M-Series for larger canopies. Standard embroidery...Micron for Micron containers and M-Series for M-Series. But UPT will put Micron on a M-Series...or vice-versa. Up to you. Mike ChutingStar.com
  6. Ranch Pro Shop or ChutingStar...we will have them up on the site soon. Mike ChutingStar.com
  7. Call out to Skydive Hawaii and talk with Frank T.K. Hinshaw. He is the most recent person I can think of that bought one from us earlier this year. I know he's been using for awhile now. Mike ChutingStar.com
  8. Here is the link to the line trim chart so you and/or your rigger can measure the brake lines to see if the length of everything is correct as far as the factory specs...and if so, you can then start getting advice on how you're flying the canopy or if you need to adjust the length. http://performancedesigns.com/docs/linetrims/TF-TK-120-230-Line-Trim-Chart.pdf Mike ChutingStar.com
  9. Not on cutaways, but a good amount of educational videos on gear and rigging to take up your winter... http://www.chutingstar.com/expertadvice_en/ Mike ChutingStar.com
  10. The Flatlock Adaptor for the Gas fit the best on a Large Gath Sport Hat. See more info here: http://www.chutingstar.com/newgear_en/liquid-flatlock-top-mount-helmet-adaptor.html Mike ChutingStar.com
  11. You can use the Cookie Flatlock with one of their Flatlock adapters on a Gath. I'd have to check tomorrow on which adapter fits the Gath as Cookie makes 6 different adapters based on the helmet curve. Mike ChutingStar.com
  12. Mirage doesn't do a 1" chest strap either...which is what the one side remaining is. ChutingStar.com
  13. What's the CLD attachment? I haven't heard of that yet... Mike ChutingStar.com

  15. Sorry, missed your note from last week. The Schumacher is more of a "finished product." It comes pre-drilled for mounting and for HypEye D Pro access. It's also an easier in/out for the camera since it has one screw for closure. If you want something that you can modify and/or setup as you see fit, then the Bonehead box allows that since it really is a "blank" box of sorts. You can drill your mounting holes and HypEye D Pro access holes (or not) as you see fit. Since opening the box allows you to remove the camera, I think hard mounting the box is the best option. No need for a quick release, and that would actually complicate the mounting. Here's a link to both with more information: http://www.chutingstar.com/newgear_en/photo-video/camera-boxes/cx110-150-stealth-box.html http://www.chutingstar.com/newgear_en/bonehead-d-box.html Mike ChutingStar.com

  18. Haven't had a chance to get it up on my site yet, but here are some photos of the CX150 version. The differences on the Bonehead vs. Schumacher are these: Materials: Bonehead carbon fiber, Schumacher composite of some sort Size: Bonehead larger with more padding to finish out fit, Schumacher smaller for an exact fit. Closure: Bonehead cable closing, Schumacher screw closing. Price: Bonehead $184, Schumacher $175 The blue hood lens cover you saw in my prior photos for the CX100 box is for the .3 Century, which is an extra option...and only needed if using that lens. Step-up ring, filter bushing and attachment hardware included with the Schumacher. Attachment hardware included with the Bonehead. Both of these are setup for top-mounting only. Mike ChutingStar.com
  19. He does. I have one at the shop, but haven't put up a listing with info/pictures on our site yet. I'll try to do that tomorrow. It is a pressure/friction fit...no camera screw required. Easy in/out. Attached is one photo of the CX100 Schumacher box...the CX150 box is similar, just smaller. Mike ChutingStar.com
  20. I have an email from Karel Goorts telling me I must return a cutter to them to get a new one. The message did not say where cutters here in the USA must be sent. If they must go to Belgium, that's going to take some time, and the rig will be down in the meantime. I hope very much that they'll give this some additional thought. I also sent an email to Mike Gruwell at Chuting Star. Maybe since they are a service center, they'll be able to help make this less inconvenient. I'll post if/when I learn more. We're trying to get the logistics of this as you are. We only had several cutters that could be pulled from new units on the shelf, and those have already been claimed. So ChutingStar as well as Para-Concepts is hoping to have a stock of cutters in the U.S. to minimize down times for Argus owners. But as of now, we don't. Right now, we recommend contacting Aviacom directly for the exchange. Mike ChutingStar.com
  21. Just damn...thanks for bringing me back to earth. Mike ChutingStar.com
  22. Terry, Submitted mine online combined with my exhibitor booth registration. Looks like it went through okay on the site. Mike ChutingStar.com
  23. We have 10 on the way to ChutingStar. So maybe we can work something out with getting you one of those for a review. Mike ChutingStar.com
  24. Rawa is now making a CX110/150 box, which we just received several of. I did try putting a CX150 in the CX100 Rawa box, and it is too loose. But you might be able to put some extra padding to make it work...or put the CX150 box on there. Mike ChutingStar.com
  25. Here are Trunk's mounts: http://www.chutingstargear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=57_59&products_id=898. Mike would top mounting that not be so much safer? Yes, the Sturdy Mount could also be top-mounted, which would put the camera on its side. Mike Mike ChutingStar.com
