    I just got one of the gloves from quality rigging (advertised in the classifides) and am very happy with the build quality. I have my pc109 in there with a diamond .3 lens and it works perfect.

    i use this and its great http://www.softpointer.com/tr.htm It will tag the files based on name and vise versa. Also has an option for getting tag info from freedb or amazon.

    I am wanting to get a wide fisheye lens for my rebel xt. I was looking a the 8mm offerings and cant decide. Peleng or Sigma. Is the Sigma worth the extra money? The sigma has auto focus which would be nice, but would it make that much of a defference at that wide of an angle? I am going to be using it for all kinds of freefall shots and even some self shots from a belly and foot mount. Any suggestions for other lens would be nice too.. I already have a 10-22.

    I'm 6'6" and jump a batrack (top mount vid and top mount vertical stills out of a king air and have no problems.. Just takes some getting used to.

    yea, i have the antitwist plates and some gaffers tape as well.. Still have a little play though

    which still/video quick release mount are you guys using.. Right now I have a 2 strobos and both cameras have a lot of play in them with they are mounted.. So much that you can sometimes see the video shake a little. What the most sturdy/secure/longest lasting quick release? Without a box. I have seen several mentioned and in ads but never held one in my hand. Bonehead, cookie, Schumacher, etc?

    thats what I was thinking.. once you jump whatever your setup is a few times, you shouldn't bump your head anymore.. I'm 6'6 and I jump a batrack with vid and stills top mounted w/o boxes and don't bump my head. I have jumped 182's, porters, caravans, and KA's and have never really had a problem unless somebody else bumps into me. But I have learned to avoid that as well.. Also, i paid about $150 for my vid camera and just cant justify spending $200 for a box..

    you can top mount both vid/still on an optic or rawa. Just get a small plate and vertically mount your stills.. Either that or look for an old batrack.

    I not know much about HD compression as I dont own an HD camera yet, so I haven't done the research but if you can upload some footage using the best quality compression or whatever that best displays the quality of an HC3/Hi-Def that would be greatly appreciated. Something that has various different skydiving scenes would be great.. (exits, free fall, landings, planes, general dz shenanigans)

    I looked on skydivingmovies.com and didnt really find anything.. I am looking for some skydiving footage that I can download that was shot in HD. Preferably with and HC3. I found a few on skydivingmovies, but none of them were actual HD.. looking for something that is either raw avi or at least compressed with an HD codec. I am looking at getting one and want to see some sample footage..

    How do you charge for video services? I'm not talking about tandem/aff. I'm talking about if a jumper/group wants you to do a video and stills of their jump? And what if you just go jump with someone/group without them asking and then they want it after they see it? Do you sell all the stills on a cd or sell them individual prints? Do you charge seperatly for video and stills or a single price for both?
