    at my dz, all the full time staff used digital. If they buy the stills upfront, they just get a cd with their vhs/dvd. If they just get video, then we show them the pics on our laptops when we get back to the hanger. Most people end up getting them after they see the pics. Probally 80% - 90%.

    I think digital is certainly the way to go. Espically with more people these days being computer savy. Me personally, if I showed up to do a tandem or get pictures of anything really, I would request digital and if it wasnt avaliable I probably wouldn't get them. Digital just seems a lot more desirible to me, just because im not limited to the number of pics i take, and I dont ever have to buy a roll of film. That and most people would rather email some pictures to the friends and family. That, and they may not want all of the pictures developed. They might just want one 8x10 or something.

    sometimes the software that comes with cd/dvd burners comes "broken" to where it will only work with the drive that it came bundled with.

    I have been using pinnacle and can do a pretty quick job, but the end result isnt that good. If I sit down and spend extra time doing it right, and include slow motion of the exit and deployment, and some other stuff, it ends up taking forever. Not to mention I then have to wait forever for it to render and then burn. Does anyone know of a good PC alternative. Something that dosent take 30 minutes to render and burn. I dont have a mac.

    Which mount is the best for mounting my digital rebel on my Rawa. I have only seen the stroboframe, goldmember, and this bogen.     are there any cheaper digital still cameras that are sutiable for skydiving. preferably in the $500 dollar range or below. I know most people use the canon digital rebel at my dz, but i would rather not drop a grand on a camera if i dont have too.

    Yea.. the brake lines are a lil short, at least for my monkey arms. I stalled it out once already on landing.

    when i was getting mine pulled, i woke up half way through it. It hurt pretty bad for a second, then i passed back out when the dr. stopped pulling.

    we have night jumps comming up at our dz and I wanted some tips for getting good video. Whats the best way to go about it. I am using a PC101. I dont think the night mode would work very well. I have seen some video where it looks like someone just has a flashlight straped to their helmet. Whats the best way to do it?

    i am right eye dominant and i did a few jumps with it today and it worked like a charm.

    yea.. after i posted i remembered seeing that one and started looking through it. There where no rawa's with sights, but i did fugure out that most sights are mounted on the right.. So thats what i did..

    I have a rawa and a sight and need to know how to mount it. How far away should the sight be from my eye. Mabey someone can post some pictures of their rawa's so i can get an idea of where to put it. And which side do i put the sight on, the left or the right?

    is anyone interested in sharing a hotel room. I am booking one for friday and saturday. So far its me and 2 others, but we probably wont be staying in it. Its most likly just going to used for cleaning up/showering. So if anyone is interested in pitching in for a room stay in or just use for cleaning up in, PM me.

    haha... 0 found.. my camera has a 30mm thread size. From lookign at B&H and on ebay, i think 37mm is the most popular.. I can then just get a step-up ring cant I? and i think I am going to go with this here Kenko Lens and Step-up Ring That will work right?
