Hell, I've got close to 6000 and some days I just don't do as well as I should. Breathe, smile, relax and enjoy the fact that you're in the most amazing sport in the world. Keep jumping and it'll turn around for you.

I was half way thru a pack job when someone wanted to see the video I'd shot. After showing the video I came back to a kicked around pack job. I straightened it out some, said "That looks okay" and closed it up. Guess who had a cutaway on the next jump.

Thanks for the laugh. I had a great Christmas with Vskydiver and our youngest daughter, plus a visit to the 3 nephews up North. We got them all wind tunnel certificates for Christmas. I can't wait to heal up and take them.

That's a cool craft. There's a custom knife shop on the way to the DZ that I've heard has a pretty good rep. Bookcases and furniture, I've built a bit. I make a mean chest of drawers and do okay on cabinets. My other two specialties are reloading ammo and cooking meat. Made a great prime rib for dinner today, easier than anyone thinks. Especially proud of my slow smoked ribs with the secret spice rub.

One of our favorite holiday songs, oldie but goodie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SzjDOk_u9I

Yeah, guess that's how they build all them hotels and casinos and shit. . . . Never been a big gambler. $100 down and I'm done.

Hey, I thought we were all a bunch of thrill seekers here.

................................................................................ Can you name 100 jump-planes? Hell, they're ALL jump planes. . . Although some require you to pull the handle between your knees to fire the seat . . .
-
Yep, they are.

Just what I was thinking, 2nd offense. Needs to find a little privacy, sheesh, off the road.

Ahh, the wing's in a sling, still. . . Sure has made it hard moving boxes and doing all those last minute things. Glad I got all the tile laid and sheetrock done before I clavicled.

Vskydiver and I have been working on the new house and listening to Christmas music half the day. I love the holiday and the music is just fine with me. It brings back so many fond memories. Except for "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer."

We usually have a party at our house but this year we'll be in our new house, new neighbors. Our son will be visiting and one daughter lives with us still, so it might be a quiet ringing in this year. Or we might be partying hard with a whole new set of neighbors. We'll see.

As we should all know, it doesn't require penetration for insemination. Just playing around the outside can get some strong swimmers heading up the canal.

And you got the girl too. I gotta try that "only made a couple" line sometime to see what tales I can hear. I did have a young woman, friend of a roommate, go on and on about her skydiving experiences, sitting in a chair right next to my packed up Racer. She had brought it up out of the clear blue sky.

Nothing new. Other brands have had that for years. One size does NOT fit all.

I was gonna reply that I could probably name 100 airplanes, but you guys are going off on a much better tangent. .

Boy! Do I have a little project for when you come to AZ! You'll have to talk to HER. I make no promises. .

Yes, I was giving tips on how to exit a Cessna 182 this time. Another time I was talking politics. . . Not a good thing when the proctologist may have very different views.

Valinda and I just finished remodeling our new place. Although we used an airless sprayer for most of the rooms and almost all of the ceilings, we decided against it for the kitchen cabinets. She took the doors off and drawers out and did them with rollers and brushes. Many many man-hours ( woman-hours?) later she had a great looking product. In retrospect, spraying might have been faster, but the prep work (to do it right) was too daunting. She also said she could have do it faster next time from what she learned this time. Many of our projects are like that. . . 3 steps forward, one step back, repeat until done.

Nice stitch work.

Vskydiver showed me that earlier from "another social medium." I hope you got stiches, 'cause that one needs it. I thought you had cut a tendon and were going to need some special surgery, right? The shoulder? Ahhh, not healed yet. Another doc appt. on Wednesday. We shall see. . ..

that one and Gas Buddy. Tells you where to get the cheapest gas all across the country. Love it. And google maps. Use your phone as your GPS unit. I'm not a tech gadget guy, but my phone is damn handy.
