  1. Congrats, crazy man. We wish you all the joy in the world.
  2. We made it to the wind tunnel and Vskydiver and I flew with our son to welcome in the New Year. He lives and jumps out of state now so it was special to get some air time with him. As always, he had some advice for my flying style. Stayed up late with friends and family, didn't drink TOO much, slept in late and felt great. Good start to the New Year. I wish all of you a fantastic year to come, and may I be part of it with you.

    Ouch

Me too. With my broken collar bone last month they initially said "At your age, we'll need to operate." But yesterday they cleared me to tunnel fly and use my own judgement on skydiving.

Damn, how bad and how long? Did they pin ya or just set it? Heal fast, buddy.
  5. You know, I know a number of SA women who skydive and they and the accent are definitely appealing.
  6. Is that part of the story? I heard something about R. Kelly from Macklemore. . . . I keep my Pop Culture filters set pretty tight. Sometimes I even turn off the TV and read a book.
  7. Yep, famous for being famous. . . and having millions of followers that then buy their products. Only in America.
  8. I might just be partying at the wind tunnel. Plus the doctor today said my clavicle's healed enough I can do a little belly flying. So much for a quiet night doing nothing.
  9. And "Bieber". I 2nd that . . . and I could do without "Kardashian" for a while too.
  10. Brian at Skydive Ogden is a good choice, but it IS up North in Ogden. Jack may be able to do some rigging for you in SLC proper. http://www.skydiveutah.com/ I've known both guys for years. I'd use either one to pack my reserve.
  11. Scottish does it for a lot of women. Vskydiver has a serious Gerard Butler thing goin'.
  12. "Oh for heck!" Yep, I married one.
  13. Considering she's worn bikinis like that, she's alright with that. I can charge my batteries anywhere. I can only discharge them at home.
  14. called the Valsava I never have trouble with it unless I've had a cold. Sudafed is a good, non drowsy drug to keep the sinuses clear. The FAA approves it for pilots and controllers, so I figure it's safe for jumping too.
  15. You must have had a helluva tan that summer. Did you ever skip a day going to the pool?
  16. I have a jumper friend who's an ER doc. He's got some hilarious "what I pulled out of people's butts and what they claimed" stories. I just grab a beer and laugh. . .
  17. Here's an artist I think we can all get behind. Warning: video contains scantily dressed women in suggestive poses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i903v5UvcK4 Enjoy
  18. Whatever accent that it the opposite of Snookie and the rest of the Jersey Shore bunch. I can't stand that accent. I'll take Texas girl-next-door accent anytime.
  19. I have to go with "twerking" too, although I hate enough words and phrases to probably name 100.
  20. We are so happy for the two of you. Congratulations to you both.
  21. Brisket is true Texas barbecue. I've done one or two, nothing amazing yet but working on it. I need to experiment around with it a little.
  22. I don't understand all these brake fires. I've never had one. Is it a design problem or poor packing?
  23. Nothing provides feedback on your last spot better than a 28' flat. I joke that jump boots weren't worn for the landings. They were worn for the hike back.
