Er, not from those of us living down south! C’mon, Nethers is great… cheap jumps and cheaper bar! It’s only an hour from Weston and you included that as an option! Vicki
-
I’m in California for the first half of April, then probably getting my wisdom teeth out as soon as I get back. So April not good for me, I’m afraid. Make it March, then those people who are not renewing their BPA can come and play! And lets have the boogie at Nethers! Vicki

Nethers, Nethers, Nethers! Can’t believe you missed it off! Cheap jumps, cheap bar and great facilities! Vicki
-
One other trick is to get the person sending it to put on the customs thing “returned to owner following repair/alteration”. hth! Vicki
-
How about that cool cocktail bar you were telling us about? Vicki
-
Yeah – it was cool! So… when and where is the next one? Vicki
-
I believe the trashed table total was 5! Vicki

I was talking to Macca definitely, but I was very drunk and don’t remember any accent… Should I remember an accent??? I’m confused! (It doesn’t take much!) Vicki
-
Does he? Shit – I must have been pissed at the AGM – I don’t remember! I guess I’ll find out for sure this evening! Vicki
-
Not to mention better weather!
-
I just don't wanna know what you get up to in your spare time north of the border! Vicki
-
Hang on - I thought that was Alana?! Vicki
-
I find myself agreeing with your rant! It's not just snow either! Didn't too much sunshine manage to f*ck the trains up this summer? Vicki
-
It’s guaranteed to be the wrong type of slush! Vicki
-
But that’s just the point – it never seems to snow enough to be fun! Our once a year snow is always just enough to be a complete pain in the arse! Vicki
-
Apparently it’s going to get a lot milder today and it will be above freezing tonight. So expect wet, slushy pavements but no re-freezing. Hopefully (fingers crossed – although I’m sure it could always be the wrong type of slush…) this means that trains, planes etc. should be running almost normally. In theory… Vicki

Snow in the south east of England really is uniquely unpleasant imho. Looks pretty for about a nanosecond, then melts, re-freezes and turns the pavements and roads into death traps and causes public transport not to run! Bah humbug! Roll on summer! Vicki
-
Well, assuming no-one is going to have real transport issues, lets stick with the plan – meet at the Reef Bar at Waterloo station at 7pm, Colin’s gonna arrive 7.30ish and then head over to the Italian which is just round the corner. Don’t worry about it being a late one as I believe the girls have a flight to catch at stupid-o’clock tomorrow morning! Vicki
-
Re: tonight's planned Italian... As we all know it has been snowing a little in the London area and that the slightest dusting of snow has a tendency to make the trains (and public transport generally) in the UK grind to a halt. So... is tonight's planned Italian still ok for everyone? As far as I know it should be ok for me but what about the rest of you? If public transport looks like being generally screwed up do we want to think about re-scheduling? Vicki

Spoke too soon – it has just started snowing here too! Sh*t – I’m gonna get cold and wet on my way home… Vicki
-
Well, I’m only about 20ish miles south-west of London and it isn’t snowing here! Good thing too as I’m just about to walk home! Vicki
-
Does hail count? That hurts! Even wearing a full face it hurts your neck. Horrible! Vicki
-
So who’s coming tomorrow: Alana and Steph vt1977 Spike Zeemax Anyone else gonna be in London tomorrow and want to join us? If so PM me for the details! It's gonna be fun! Vicki
-
Yeah, but that was the “wrong type” of snow, wasn’t it? And this summer, wasn’t it the wrong type of heat… What’s your all-time favourite excuse for the trains being f*cked up? Vicki
-
I definitely don’t remember any safety awards being given out at the AGM – but then there’s a lot I don’t remember from the AGM! Seriously though, Sibson is a great DZ – I’ve only jumped there one weekend but the people are wonderful and they have lovely facilities. I’d probably go there a lot more if I lived closer!
