  1. Hey Audrey! Yeah I remember you, will be good to see you there! I’m not expecting much from the meal – probably cold soup followed by a non-descript main course and too much wine to care what dessert is! Vicki
  2. Might not be a bad idea… either way I’m going to drink and be merry!
  3. Not a bad use for the plate actually, if you’re in dire need as I really can’t imagine that the food is going to be gourmet cuisine… Vicki
  4. Full or empty dinner plates? (I had to ask!) Vicki
  5. I had no problems travelling from London to Phoenix on Christmas Day and flying back on 3rd Jan. Vicki
  6. You mean you’re gonna still be conscious when it’s time for dinner?!?! Bet you a beer you won’t be! Vicki
  7. I don’t think the sheep will be allowed into the hotel... Vicki
  8. Or 10.30pm until you roll into breakfast, p*ssed as a fart! Vicki
  9. Doesn't mix with heavy drinking quite as well as curry... IMHO! Vicki
  10. Yep – the bar will be open whilst people are eating and will probably be just as full as the dinner! As for timings, I don’t have my ticket to hand so I’m not quite sure I’m afraid but as with any big group dinner it’s bound to take ages… plenty of time to go and get a curry if you’re not doing the main dinner! Vicki
  11. Beth – I think I am going to wear a long cornflower blue satin dress for the dinner but will probably bring something less formal to change into later when it starts getting messy… (no point in trashing a decent dress needlessly!) Bex – if you’re not going to the dinner, I’d say you’d be safe dressing on the smart side of smart casual (i.e. smart-ish trousers and nice top) or a not too OTT dress as there will be a party which is open to all. Just be aware it will get messy later… Looking forward to meeting you guys! Anyone else want to tell us who they're dining with or what they're wearing? Vicki
  12. I’m on a table with some Bristol Uni/ex Bristol Uni guys. It should be fun! You’ll have so much fun if you’re on a table with Aspect! Vicki
  13. What table are you on Beth? Vicki
  14. Not me I'm afraid, although it sounds like fun - I have tickets to the dinner. Although I imagine your food will be tastier and more nutritrious than what I'm gonna be getting... Vicki
  15. I only went for the day last year and managed a 4 pack of Bud in a day sack! When it starts to get heavy you know you need to drink faster! Vicki
  16. Yeah, but the prize goes to the person who can blag the wine list for dinner from the hotel pre-dinner so we can pay Tesco’s prices rather than hotel ones! Vicki
  17. You'll need it! The drinks are not cheap! Vicki
  18. afaik the G92 (Twin) takes 15-16ish and the Finist (single engine) takes approx 10. Vicki
  19. Never jumped it and no idea about the technical stuff but you can find a picture of one here: http://www.targetsky.demon.co.uk/Aircraft.htm Vicki

I got to jump the Pilot 140 and the Pilot 132 at Eloy and was super impressed with them. I’ll definitely consider one when I come to get a new canopy! Vicki
  21. You will find all the details you could possibly want here: http://www.bpa.org.uk/agm04.htm Date is 24th January 2004 at the Hanover International Hotel in Hinckley. hth! Vicki
  22. There is always floor space available - bring a sleeping bag and a sense of humour and you'll definitely have somewhere to sleep! (A bottle of something strong is also helpful when attempting to blag floor space!) Sorry - must have been having a huge blonde moment then - I have just ordered one. Seems I f*cked up not getting one at Eloy! You'll find plenty of friends in the bar! Vicki
  23. So go out for a curry and then find a bit of floor to crash on!
