you ought to make this a poll so people can vote anonymously... but.... this tent's taken
-
i've finally found my people from my planet
-
your poll doesn't really offer an option for most of the people on here probably. you don't have a choice for the person who is a skydiver and has a bf/gf that is not. you have 2 whuffo selections, which you would inherently not expect much response from due to the nature of the website. and 2 skydiver options, 1 of which is couple with another skydiver, and the other is single. what about couple with non-skydiver. just thought you ought to redesign your poll for the results to really be significant at all. in the meantime, my two cents... i just couldn't ever see myself with someone who didn't know the same passion for this sport that i have. the last few guys i dated were either skydivers or started to become skydivers... i doubt i'd ever even consider a whuffo willing to learn to skydive, becuase if it was in them, they'd already be doing it on their own. luckily i don't have to worry about that. i got a good one.

do we still have a chance at winning a tunnel? thanks for the shirt, but i'll trade it for the wind-tunnel.

i know martini shots got my 2 exits from the bridge on video, so i'll get it... probably sometime in January. I know they missed my sweet landing becuase the guy was changing tapes. I've already harassed Grant about it though. It's all good, my river landing will be on there.

the birdge rocked this year. thanks to go fast and a ton of people working very hard, everything went smoothly. there were only 2 injuries that required ambulance trips, both not serious. it was cold and cloudy but the weather didn't prevent jumping at all. It was a little windy on the top, but calm on the bottom. Jumping off the bus was awesome. I made two jumps, would have been more had I not come up about 4 feet short of dry ground on the first jump and spent too much time changing and repacking. We estimated that there were more jumps made than 2 years ago, definately less delays. THe packing area at the LZ was nice, not having spectator traffic on 82 (to the bottom) was nice, color coded jump times and plenty of knowledgeable volunteers doing geer check and briefings made the day close to perfect. Martini Shot Films did the video and it will be awesome with a 7-person crew catching multiple angles and interviews... And the editing will be professional, unlike years past. i love that bridge

I use both photoshop and elements. I like photoshop becuase it has more capability, but for your purpose, elements will work very well. I'm teaching my 7th graders to use elements. If you follow the tutorials on layers, and learn how all the tools work, you'll be able to do what you're trying to do. Elements is a lot easier to learn and user friendly to someone who's never used Adobe programs before. My 7th graders are cutting images of themselves and pasting them into photos with celebrities to make it look like they were there. I have one kid holding the stanley cup, and another girl in a movie promo julia roberts... they're pretty good. Elements is also helpful because it give hints with every tool. good luck, let me know if you have any specific questions.

i got there very late xmas eve last year, kinda got stuck in the airport waiting for my luggage, got my rental car cancelled becuase i was 24, couldn't find anyone willing to give me a ride, too late to call for shuttle... it kinda sucked but i was glad to be in AZ and not in Ohio. i mean, i love my family and all but they know what holidays are for, my religion, skydiving. so i found hole-in-the wall rental place in phoenix, got a pick-up truck for the week for $100. it kicked ass, as did everything for the next 10 days... well, except the bunkhouse. it was kinda nasty.but if you're renting a car, don't use Avis or National or any of those big names at the airport, find a yellow pages and rent from a local place, MUCH cheaper. there are plenty of people there jumping xmas eve and xmas day... don't let that hold you back. go, have fun, hook it
