In case of a tie, is there a playoff? Would you have to taste crap then beer to compare? Is there a difference between crap and beer? If the beer is crap, does it still taste "like" crap? Does crap taste like crap? Can we see your rack? Can I get some free stuff?

Thought I would bump this. Our team has been growing in numbers and our team ranking has been improving almost every day. If you're not on the team, take a look and consider it. http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage?q=31515

HOW TO SPEAK ABOUT WOMEN AND BE POLITICALLY CORRECT: She is not a BABE or a CHICK - She is a BREASTED AMERICAN. She is not a SCREAMER or MOANER - She is VOCALLY APPRECIATIVE. She is not EASY - She is HORIZONTALLY ACCESSIBLE. She is not DUMB - She is a DETOUR OFF THE INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY. She has not BEEN AROUND - She is a PREVIOUSLY ENJOYED COMPANION. She is not an AIRHEAD - She is REALITY IMPAIRED. She does not get DRUNK or TIPSY - She gets CHEMICALLY INCONVENIENCED. She is not HORNY - She is SEXUALLY FOCUSED. She does not have BREAST IMPLANTS - She is MEDICALLY ENHANCED. She does not NAG YOU - She becomes VERBALLY REPETITIVE. She is not a SLUT - She is SEXUALLY EXTROVERTED. She does not have MAJOR LEAGUE HOOTERS - She is PECTORALLY SUPERIOR. She is not a TWO-BIT WHORE - She is a LOW COST PROVIDER

Yeah, I heard they put parts from dead animals in those things too. And you eat that stuff? No wonder you have gas!

From his Home Page: DKR production facility is closed this Jan. 2003. In stock Rags, can be purchased after Feb 1st. Production will resume April 5th. No custom orders will be taken until that time. Wishing you a Happy and Safe New Year. Doesn't sound like he's out of the business to me.

I've been tracking used gear prices for a couple of years now (well, maybe longer) and I've got some pretty good data. The Sapphire, used, runs $50 to $70. You got an excellent deal!

http://www.lancastereaglegazette.com/news/stories/20030126/localnews/855561.html I hope Gene and Karen can find another place to start over. It's a shame that after so many years, a few small-minded people thinking small thoughts (as in the airport authority) were able to take someone's livelihood away from them out of ignorance and malice.

TSA can order immediate revocation of a pilot license
BadDog replied to narcimund's topic in The Bonfire
Not that it makes much difference, but technically the TSA determines if someone poses a threat and the FAA decides whether to yank the certificate according to the AOPA summary of the rules. -

Well, I certainly feel safer. We all know that no self respecting terrorist would dare to fly a plane without a valid pilot's certificate! But what about all those drug stores selling weapons of mass destruction (fingernail clippers, safety razors, etc)? We gotta shut 'em down now before someone gets hurt. I'm gonna prepay my taxes so Bush can afford to go after these bad guys and take their papers NOW. That'll stop 'em for sure. (There go my certificates.) -
Check the other ports, and see if another program has the port locked (if I recall correctly, under ME I had to exit Hotsync in order to free up the port for JumpTrack). I'm running off port 3 now, under XP Pro, with no problem.

I guess you'd have to figure out how to mark the little chart on the inside of the case and swap the orange (red?) stickers too. And note it on the packing data card. It would certainly be out of the ordinary.

Yup. Get 6.05, and go with the free download.

I'm not sure there is a great deal of difference in terms of configuration options, but I prefer the way Opera displays the open windows on the bottom of the panel, which makes it easy to switch between windows when you have multiple windows open. Both browsers are certainly respectable.
-
Another (better) option is to get Opera (a browser that lets you turn the pop-ups on or off, or open them in the background, on the fly). It's also more secure than IE and I like it better than Mozilla or Netscape (which are other alternatives to IE). Of course, you might not be allowed to load it on your computer at work.

Parachutist and Skydiving Magazine run some pretty good articles from time to time dealing with gear checks and maintenance. I agree that time spent hanging around with, and talking to, a rigger is time well spent, especially when you are just starting out.

The Nigerian thing is a scam?

I should clarify my last post. The only email address that gets harvested off the cart button is my own. The customer doesn't use his or her email address until he or she gets to the secure PayPal server, so the customer doesn't have to worry about being spammed as a result.
-
Okay, I took a closer look and found that the Javascript actually does work (the spider was harvesting the email from the shopping cart buttons, not the Javascript). So, if you don't have shopping cart buttons that use an email address and if you just want an email link on your site that can't be harvested (and that won't show unless the viewer has Javascript enabled), let me know and I'll send you the code.

How about a nifty little logo or banner that I can put on my site to link to yours? It would be a shame to have to use a text link.
