If it's the accuracy you're looking for (measurements in hundreds of feet), and if you're okay with a digital display, you could try a Digitude.

The average used Dytter goes for about $63 plus an average of $5 shipping. I've seen them go for as little as $17.25 and as much as $99. Within the last two months, the range has been $36 to $72.

Based on the last 3 days processing and assuming no changes in processing power by any team - we will take position 75 in 12 days position 60 in 32 days position 50 in 112 days position 43 in 3 years position 42 in 7.5 years and hold kicking butt Time to update the forecast? BTW, RichM, do you prefer 4th or 5th?

As long as your anti-virus database is up to date and set to scan incoming email, it will pick this one up as soon as it arrives. I've nailed three so far (1 with AVG and 2 with Norton).

Riggers? How often do you change the reserve closing loop.
BadDog replied to okalb's topic in Gear and Rigging
Yes, Airtec recommends replacing the loop at each repack. See http://www.airtec.cc/L_W_eng.pdf -
Whenever I hear the other side of the argument, it has to do with making stows tight enough to avoid line dump. Would you mind addressing that argument? BTW, I, for one, really appreciate the fact that people with your level of experience and knowledge are willing to share their knowledge with the rest of us. It certainly helps to dispell some of the urban legends that have evolved in this sport over the years.

Okay then, what does AIR stand for in RAM AIR canopy?

- G4 Container: This has to be worth $1,000 or more. - Pro 170 main: Okay, I'll admit that I don't know what this is. Who makes it? - Tempo 170 reserve: $300 if not made this year, otherwise maybe $600 ($780 or so new). - Pro series Astra Cypress: As you may have gathered by now, there is no such animal. Do you have a Cypres or an Astra?

Check your log and see if it gives you any clues as to what's going on.

Container: Racer (DOM 1993) excellent condition: $150 to $300 depending on the colors and harness size; Main: Sabre 135: approx 550 jumps, will need to be re-lined soon (according to my rigger, approx 50 jumps) Excellent condition as well: $600 to $800 after reline ($400 to $600 without reline); Reserve: Raven 150, never jumped: $250 to $350; AAD: Cypres 2-pin DOM december 1999: Use the used Cypres estimated value calculator on SSK's site. So, what do you think?: You can usually get more for a whole rig than you can get for the parts just because everything fits and it's usually color-coordinated (and it's all assembled, so it's more convenient). How much more depends on the condition, colors, and harness size, as well as what else is out there.

Oh. Must not have one of those "uncomfortable" chest straps.

What's the bikini for?

I wonder why s/he took so long getting back to him/herself. And what's the hold up getting the pic changed? Oh yeah, only one of them can get on the computer at a time, so as long as s/he's checking to see if it's been changed, s/he can't log on to change it................

I nominate anyone in the top two or three to start a new thread each day. Each new thread should have a catchy title and should include an appropriate link with instructions for the newbies. Attached pictures (NSFW) would also be a good idea.

I'll bet it's Lettiwhite striking again!

I'd throw it in a drawer someplace and forget about it. It's not the ring you needed to ditch.
