And just so everyone knows, I bought a rig from a guy getting out of the sport on 12/31, and confirmed on 1/1 that the reserve was one of the Dash M's that needs bar tacking. But I figured on that. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog

176 for expert, 126 for intermediate. Sorry. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog

According to PD, the maximum weight for a 126 reserve is 254, but the recommended weights are 145 for advanced, 176 for intermediate, and 176 for experts. The only ride I've had was on a Raven, and the opening was perfect. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog

My experience with the downloaded version is that if you plan on three-hole punching it, you're gonna lose some of the words in the process and it's going to come out one-sided (twice as thick). I asked USPA about it and they said they were thinking about reformating the download to eliminate the problem (but that would probably cut into their sales, so no hurry). Still, it's a good idea if you don't want to pop for the blue binder. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog

You might want to get your hands on a Skydiver's Information Manual. It has information on licenses and all kinds of other neat stuff. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog

I can relate to that. I was off for a year and a half between numbers 38 and 39 due to an injury. Strange thing is I had nerves on each of the first 38 jumps to some extent (more on the first few jumps, but always a little regardless) and I kept expecting the nerves to kick in when it was time for 39, but they never came (over 600 now and still none). It was very strange. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog

Alan, that's one of the most comprehensive explanations I've ever seen. Great job. Also, it's a great plug for Cypres. CorporateLawyerDave aka BadDog
