Agreed. It makes me concentrate much more on safety. As in.....if I can't get myself away from the situation......I have severe SHIT coming. Laws, breakage, rehab, hospitals, and medical bills. Solo BASE jumps are something else. No pilot, no other jumpers, no "cheering crowds". And...if it not on video...it never happened. Congrats on the Solo Mac. Happy groundrush!! Later, Thomas

NO. Mine doesn't. I'm a complete asshole. I feel that when shit happens, shit happens. So be it. I heard I was an accident waiting to happen. So, I wonder when. And I tire of waiting. I have had a few accidents, but nothing enough to talk about. But, until I burn in, I won't get told that everybody else TOLD ME SO. "TOLD YOU SO" I would love to hear that after I die. Narcs at the DZ? It is a good debate, but let's talk about something else. people telling on people. Why does anyone feel the need to "tell on" another person? Alot of people say that if they come across this situation, they will leave. Well, OK, then leave. Just don't call the cops. Why is it that one person feels the need to have another person arrested for their actiions? "Hi, I don't have a badge, but I am so disturbed by your actions that I will report you to authorities". Why is this? Please explain. Why does one person feel their need for safety and perfection and "law-abiding" is more important than another human's to pursue happiness? Start BREAKING LAWS! That is the learning curve. I am sorry to sound harsh, but if you want to be a "law abiding citizen", BASE will not be for you. BASE is not about following the law. "Trespassing" At the least, that is what we are talking about. And I would not like to see you break the law. I don't BASE jump at night because it is safer. I BASE jump at night because there is MUCH less chance of being seen by authority types. Sorry dude, but if LAW ABIDING is your game, BASE jumping is NOT. Later, Thomas

Wow. All us "dopers" fit into that category? You mean we are all the same? Every "doper" is vile, evil, and stinks? I bet all us "dopers" wear tie-dyes also. And all "dopers" have no jobs, we just sit around all day long. Thank you for defining a nice stereotype. I am so glad to see that though we can no longer discriminate against blacks, gays, mexicans, jews, or women, we can still actively discriminate against "dopers". After all, us "dopers" are ALL poor and stoopid. It seemed like an intelligent debate until I started talking.
