Much like those in Nazareth... Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.” And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith. It appears liberal hoplophobes have found common cause with conservative negrophobes in denying guns to black people... Illinois is a "Shall Issue" State, but apparently they think it means that they shall issue a decision rather than a permit to those who qualify...Now the lawsuits are beginning to pile up. And if they start ISIS Inc. they'll get corporate welfare, like other big corporations, so they can pay $millions in bonuses to their execs. As Long as they are indoctrinated to vote liberal, Obama would welcome it. All those Wall St. CEOs - definitely pillars of the liberal establishment. You are so astute. ...and we have things like this... http://www.model1sales.com/ Chuck And ISIS Inc. can take a tax deduction for them. No! We need something to defend ourselves with down here on the border. Chuck Agreed I figured you had already joined at least one militia.... so move out there Mr MilitiaMan .... go patrol the north bank of the Rio-not-so-Grande. I hear ISIS is just across the river....... are you willing to protect the Texican Homeland??? We don' need no stinkin' militia! Chuck Until we do. Mind your cache! Chuck I'm just curious to see what happens if we keep "quoting" this entire post... Turtle's original comment that started the string seems to get smaller and smaller...My theory is that if it disappears, it will create a vortex and suck SC into oblivion... Well, it now appears that turtle's original comment has reached critical mass where the bohr shells now expand into an infinite interwebal vacuum thus avoiding catastrophic implosion... Yes, people keep lying about Chicago's gun laws, but as this shows, a concealed carry permit is perfectly legal in Chicago. True... but mostly if you're white. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/sep/29/chicago-concealed-carry-gun-permit-law-disarms-poo/?page=all From Article: "Illinois residents say the disproportionate statistics all boil down to cost. Of right-to-carry states, Illinois has the highest registration and training fee, costing an applicant about $650 on average for fingerprinting, taxes and logistics — excluding the price of the gun." I propose gun stamps... Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour

I took away from it that when you feel needlessly harassed on a continuous basis, you start to feel resentment. I can understand that at some point that resentment boils over. ...and that's a legitimate point, but you're talking about one black man's perspective living in a predominantly white area in Canada. I don't think that should be projected onto the level of American racism found in it's predominately black neighborhoods. What hit me the hardest about the article was the part of “double-consciousness”: "When I walk down the street, I find myself imagining that strangers view me with suspicion and fear. This phenomenon is what the African-American writer and activist W.E.B. Du Bois described as “double-consciousness”: how blacks experience reality through their own eyes and through the eyes of a society that prejudges them." I mean, that's so depressing to me on so many levels... But for starters, the guy couldn't even handle the simple question of "so, where are you from?" without thinking that it was some type of racist comment about him not belonging there... It's this "imagined" racism that seems to be the issue these days...and it sucks because it's a legitimate concern. How can you erase that? Even if black people know it's not racism, they still have to live with the distraction of that involuntary emotion/thought/reaction... ...which is why I think it's important to have a truthful conversation without people ignorantly defending against imagined racism...it only exacerbates the situation to the point where it will never end. Will white people be sensitive to the situation and promote diversity? I don't know... Regardless tho, will black people take advantage of their civil rights that their ancestors could've only dreamed of, and continue to fight without making excuses? I don't know... We all have to fight for what we want, we all have to take personal responsibility - some of us will have to fight more than others, regardless of race. This shit don't come easy.... Sorry my English I guess, but tea 'baggers' is gay guys, si? Tea 'partyers' is politic group, si? Is seem you say they same thing. Could please explain? Slater Tea bagging is when guys dip their scrotum(ballsack) into something or onto something - Like dipping your balls into somebody's beverage or on their forehead as a prank. There is a political group called the "Tea Party" People who don't like the Tea Party call them teabaggers because they don't like the smell of shweaty balls in their face... Typically it's not as funny when you have to explain figures of speech, but this may be an exception... okay, got it, thanks. but then why the pix has for real tea bags? Or different joke? Slater The "Tea Party" of today see themselves as those from the "Boston tea party" just before the American Revolution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Tea_Party Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour -

In this case, it would be more like lecturing a bratty teen on how it's disrespectful to drive their brand new sweet 16 gas guzzler gift into a wall because they hate their "denier" parents... Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour

They seem to be better educated about the Constitution than the lady who stole their flag. It appears that the metric being used here in SC is... if it gives them a stiffy...... its all good Well, that's the metric system... The US standard measures the difference between covering your ass with the american flag and wiping your ass with the american flag... Well, maybe the majority of black people live more densely populated in areas where you're more likely to be shot by police in general... If that's the case, then the problem has more to do with demographics and the socioeconomic structure rather than police racism.
