  1. It's amazing that people think they can somehow end bulk collection....it was illegal to begin with and it will always remain illegal....duh. Maybe in ten years from now there will be another Snowden....what do they care? You people don't get it, do you? Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  2. God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity 18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. 3. EVERY president since 1948 should have stayed out of the Middle East. Western meddling has done zero of value there. Pfffffft.....Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda.... Globalization started to fuck us back in the 70's when wages flat-lined and women had to join the work force just so we could sustain our way of life even tho production/profits continued to rise.... In the 90's we all had to live off equity/credit to keep the dream alive....even tho production/profits continued to rise... In the late 2000's it all went to shit and we had nowhere to turn...even tho production/profits continued to rise... The US economy at that point should've fixed itself, but that won't happen since American businesses that affect the American economy are not subject to American law.... 4. Why would they give a shit about what Obama says, when we don't even give a shit about what Obama says? Personally I think ISIS will be ISIS regardless of what anybody says...for the most part, you can only influence future generations. If the problem is with how ISIS interprets the text, then there is an ounce of hope if people can effectively refute those misinterpretations and convince the ISIS types otherwise....but again, that's a long shot - I'd rather put my money on teaching more accurate interpretations to future generations, much like Christianity over the last 500 years or so... Over here in Detroit/Hamtramck/Dearborn area, there is a large population of both Arabic and European Muslims. My next-door-neighbor at the time expressed how she was getting sick of all the (verbal) fighting and hostility at her mosque and how many Muslim women have started passing out christian tracks to other Muslim women. There is also a fair amount of Christian evangelism, but it seems to me that the Jehovah witnesses have been more effective. I think this is primarily due to the fact that, like Muslims, they view Jesus as a mere prophet rather than God, the Son - which probably makes it a bit easier for a Muslim to swallow....at least at first. 5. People with self control...???? Us casual users have no problem with self control... There's always going to be those few idiots though I'm reminded of a political cartoon from some eons back. It show two beefy policemen walking side by side, and one of them says "I tried marijuana once - it made me want to rape and kill." Here's a nice follow up on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwQL9ZzJTX0 Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  6. I'll admit that I was intrigued at first...I didn't even realize I was watching it for like 15 minutes.... I sifted through a few other videos and it didn't take me long to stumble over one that displayed the harsh realities...it kinda made me sick. It's sad...the majority are probably your typical ignorant "invincible" kids just trying to have fun and be cool: The two people in this car supposedly survived, but it's still very disturbing - Maybe NSFW? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98jbhPLyeCA Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  7. I'm having difficulty understanding whether or not you support the gun owner's actions. I'm having difficulty understanding why those evil racist cops didn't do their job and tackle that black guy after he placed his gun on the ground... ...they're slipping. 10. I was thinking NASCAR. are you referring to the video? can't click it, working. whats on it? Saudi Drifting...Tafheet or Hajwalah I don't think it's a very common practice. It's illegal and one man has already been sentenced to death by beheading for killing two people. From Wiki: In June 2012, a middle-aged Saudi drifter nicknamed "Mutannish" (the nickname means "one who ignores") was sentenced to death by beheading for killing two people while drifting his car near Unaizah in Al-Qassim Province. In March 2014, a 23-year-old Saudi nicknamed "The King of Nazeem Neighborhood" was sentenced to ten years in prison and 1,000 lashes for a series of car drifting and firearms offenses in Riyadh and Al-Qassim Province. The drifter was also banned from driving for life. Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  11. Almost nothing? Death. Death is worse for you than alcohol or tobacco. That's why attempting suicide is illegal. Bet you don't know what the penalty for that is. 72 virgins? I am thinking with so many men who could not handle just one woman....... That was after we stopped beating our wives and allowed them to speak... 12. Get some kneepads..... you are going to be spending a lot of time on your knees praying for that to happen. It is going to be a very long period of history for youse guys till 2024 rolls around. Anybody but Hillary. I'd prefer Al gore to Hillary. I dunno man...if the idea of "change" and having "the first black president" was too tempting for most to resist, then how much more the idea of "90's Nostalgia" and "the first woman president?" 13. You have to understand that you are talking to Quade... If you said that the sky was blue, he'd say something like, "well, actually it's azure, but only during a clear sunny day with minimal pollution, otherwise it would depend on your elevation." ...not that that's necessarily a bad thing...I'm just saying. 15. For someone who claims to respect a person's religious dogma if it is sincerely held believe derived from God, you sure find it easy to insult the same dogma. Hypocrite much? I thought her last "sandwich" comment was rather funny and well played...I felt obliged to respond in kind with my own tongue-in-cheek jesting - c'mon man, she walked right into that one. Personally it's really becoming quite the buzz-kill having to explain everything to the liberal hypersensitive types looking to pick a fight. 16. Well, what do you expect? We're just sexist pigs that ogle at women and expect them to serve us sandwiches - wtf do we know, eh? Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  17. I know it's a bit off topic, but doesn't Paul sound absolutely desperate to be believed? There are many times when studying scripture that I wonder what prompted somebody to make a particular statement. In this instance, I've discovered that there were other teachers seeking to build a following for their own self serving purposes - and in doing so they started to attack Paul's apostleship and called him a fraud. 19. I expressed how I respect your practice, especially if it's done out of faith in God. I then provided some scripture about how every man/woman should be fully persuaded in his/her own mind as to whether they choose to practice a certain custom or not. ...but then you also claim that you do it because of men. You said that it gives you a sense of empowerment and frees you from the ogles of man. IMO, that is not freedom. A more extreme example would be to say that I'm free from the dangers of the world because I keep myself locked up safe in my house as a hermit....or that I'm free from sexual immorality because I chose to become a eunuch. But whatever...rather then addressing anything that I said, you just dismiss it because of my gender....that's called bulverism - "you're only saying that because you're a man!" ...then Bill comes in and spins his typical racist/sexist twist on it - and then you offered to bring me a sandwich. It's like throwing peas at a wall. Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  20. I meant it to be from a political perspective...but I'm glad I left it open to interpretation. I was originally going to edit the question to make the clarification, but somebody had already voted... Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
  21. ...says yet another MAN to me Bulverism! You may think that statement has some profound significance, but had not men moved beyond that type of mentality, women may have never been able to vote. "There goes another woman, speaking again..."
