I like that one. I had a friend on the phone with Delta. Obviously somewhere a call center that had been outsourced. Furious that on the 3rd day of the trip he still had no luggage was intent on screwing them any way he could. So after getting his 2nd days $25 vouched for having no luggage (at 11:45 pm) proceeds to try to get his 3rd day's voucher. Well the lady wont give it to him cuz its not the 3rd day yet. He asks if he'll have is luggage in 15 min. No. Why no voucher? So he proceeds to tell the lady of our business trip in great detail always cutting her off so she can hang up with him. kept her on the phone until 11.58. Then she hung up. Its actually me. Im trying to make you crazy. We've got a fax machine, and on the DNC list. So I get quite irritated when our phone rings at 3am so some mother fucker can send me a crappy time share deal in FL. So then next day i propmly call their 1-800 number and chew the person who answers. Now, I know theyre just trying to scratch out a living, but shit go do it somewhere else. My theory: if everyone did that no onw would work there and the company would be forced to change its practices. I even had one company had the never to ask me to hold so I could speak with someone else before they could take my number off the list, and after some colorful metaphors I mentioned somthing about if you call here again I'll consider it harrasment and hire an attorney. Little bit o' history of me: Summer 02 I was in a car accident. My left should had a lot of pain. 2 mo. PT and no improvement. MRI was inconclusive, but some movement was limited. Doc when in and performed a capsule repair. Geesus what a painful ordeal. Essentially they burn the capsule (rotator cuff) which tightens all the surrounding tissue. I then had to learn to use my arm again in PT. I still have some issues with it once in a while, usually if i dont stretch. I find that flying with my arms(which I shouldnt) too much in a head up position I feel some discomfort during the dive. Even after a mid-air collision on that arm the pain subsides after the strain ends. My PT had told me that as the arm lifts (palms down) there is a lot going on in there when the arms are even with the shoulders. Also, told me that as long as I keep it strong (exercise, warm up, stretching) it will remain fine. I'd suggest looking into some mild strengtheing exercises, and some structured stretching on a regular basis. Man thats a lot of crap, hope it helps some. You sound like Hottie. (Im sure Travis has told you this, as well as many others) Relax, if youre tense, it can set the mood for the meeting. Be confident (not conceded): youre smart and youve worked hard to get where youre at, relay that to your interviewer. Sell yourself: aka putting your best foot forward. Even if its a little thing find a way that its applicable to their firm and explain how it will help them. Smile, be polite, and dont be afraid to ask for the job at the end, if you want it. Used two large rubber bands on the inside locking stows, and small bands on the two outside stows and all other stows. In a ten jump day I MAYBE replaced one. I put about 500 jumps with em like that. I suspect you'll not get a response from a recreational user here, b/c most of them are not willing to 'out' themselvs as users. I watched my brother nearly completely wreck his life on meth and whatever else he was doing. I was at all odds with him and completely turned my back on him. That neither helped or hurt. He was in the wrong place at that time. He's since got his life in order. Im happy for that. My experiments back in the day were for the wrong reasons: peer pressure, social acceptance, escape. My personality requires a tight reign on my drinking, etc. I focus on mainting my real life: wife, home, career, bills, health, family, etc. All other play must take a back seat. That includes skydiving as I believe the adrenaline rush is just as big a rush as those things I did in the past.
