I use my work laptop for editing It could be better but hey its free right!? Dell Latitude D810 1.86GHz intel processor 1.00Gb RAM Firewire card (for all my other devices) My storage and scratch disc is a Lacie, 7200 RPM, 300 GB, and firewire connections. If ya'll want I'll let ya know how well it all comes out when I go to render my next project. 40 min of video w/ music, and a few transitions to and uncompressed format. the rotation is a method of getting the bag oriented in that direction. Ive not seen too many containers that would allow you to "just put it on the container that way" when you take canopy size vs. containers size. I speculate that if you could just drop the bag into the pack tray w/ the stows facing the BOC the 'friction' component of that container would be zero. Also, I wouldnt want to have all my risers/excess line nice and neat in the bottom (backpad) of the container and then trying to wrestle a bag thats larger than the container. I think that scenario would be more likely to cause bag lock, or tension knot situations. IMHO. Way to dig into the archives for this one! Im into the sport for over 5 years now. The more I jump the more I think about it, the better I get, the more i jump... There are two guys on my team from Guam. I laughed my ass off the other night when they made "Spam Sushi." California rolls with vegetables, rice, and fried Spam. Hell, they even cooked up some fried spam at the DZ last weekend. i still dont know what that was all about. slice it thin, dip it in an egg wash then in corn meal and flash fry in a pan w/ some oil. mmmmm.... Ian isnt jumping a whole lot right now. they've slowed down for the season already. Im sure theres a chance he could be there though. If everything works out I'll be out one of those days.
