Yah, like when jumpers go down in a jump plane and they make the national news and I know them. Yep, I know what you mean. Kinda sureal.
-
Why? What'd I ever do to you? Have you even met me? Oh California. You suck in the nicest possible way.

Jesus built my hotrod. It's a love afair. Mainly Jesus and my hotrod. -Ministry

This is sort of a camera Karma I've noticed. The one jump that you forget to turn on your camera, you get hurt. So let's all be safe out there and remember to hit the record button. Well, unfortunately, I had to watch the video of a friend who turned low into the ground. It was running. He didn't make it. Pete, thanks for the clarification.

Clay? Clay who?

Double payday? Please don't tell me you sold video of your injury to RealTV. Right?

I pray that this is what happens. And I expect it to be done by our administration. We as Americans must hold them to this promise. This endless cycle must end.

Ummmm.....maybe.

The first group is in training class right now from my understanding.

Uh....this is the Captain speaking.....We're cruising at 35,000 feet, got a smooth ride and we'll turn the seat belt sign off......As a point of interest....I'm carrying a custom Kimber handgun with all the bells and whistles you've come to expect in custom firearm of that caliber...........

Wooowhooo!!!.....I'm funny today!

Oh like Texas is any better! The only reason Texas doesn't slip into the Gulf of Mexico is because Oklahoma sucks! Is the Pub still open?

Hey, I've been there too man. Look at some of the recent posts. Just trying to give a reminder I got recently too.

I disagree that "Freedom of Speach" is only for US citizens. We need to think more globally. Some people just need to vent I guess. They lash out because they have no other way of expressing their feelings. They feel powerless so they post here on a skydiving forum. I just choose to read past it. Edited to add: Kindergarten Rule #3: Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. And......Rule #4: I'm rubber. You're glue. Whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you!

You know, I was actually expecting a spoof picture of that dude that "appeared" at the top of the WTC just as one of the jets was flying into it. Don't know why that popped in my head when I read the title but thought it funny ironic. It was funny when the other spoof pics came out with the same dude in front of other disasters. Not that disasters are funny. Just the whole dry humor about putting this dude in the scene. Chris

Ummm....the rumor was proven true. He did file bankruptcy. I posted the links. So yes, how am I causing Paul problems? I started a thread in a negative fashion? I hate rumors. So when I heard this I asked if anyone had the truth. Maybe others would stop spreading the rumors after it was shown that he had not declared bankruptcy. But, the facts are he did file bankruptcy. If you read the whole thread I even said the thread could die since a few had posted that they knew he had not declare bankruptcy. I was going to let it go. I even posted it in Talk Back so that if it was trash it would be burried quickly. But, then, more facts came out. So, I posted the links. Everyone seemed to not take notice. Then after a week it gets pulled up to rehash and I'm bashed for causing trouble. The thread was dead. Facts or no facts the thread was dead. So now I'm the bad guy. Fine. You all have a good day. Do with the info what you want. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125

I'm causing him problems? One of the bigest aircraft owners of jump planes declares bankruptcy and I post links to the website that prove it and I'm causing him problems? There was a rumor. People talk about stuff on here all the time. They post stuff about the war. Back and forth. Yadda yadda. But something directly related to skydiving gets posted and I'm causing him problems? I don't think so. I think the problems Paul has are of his own making. For those that don't think the SEC is involved just look at the list of Creditors. Why would the Security and Exchange Comission list themselves or get involved with $3,000 dollars of claims? If someone has a good explanation I'd like to hear it. How have I jumped all over him? I posted something factual for others to read and corroborate. I suggested that they keep their eyes and ears open to protect themselves because operations (inside and outside of skydiving) have had issues with maintenance while in bankruptcy. If people are more aware and this puts Fayard's operation on notice that we are all watching so nothing happens then I'd say things went well. United? People choose to stop flying United because we don't have coffee on some flights. I doubt the bankruptcy really has anything to do with their decision making. Don't believe me? Just ask my flight attendant from a few trips ago when we couldn't serve coffee. He wanted a full refund on his ticket from O'Hare to Moline, IL. Whatever. I think a major difference exists between airline bankruptcy and a Part 91 operation bankruptcy. The FAA is crawling all over an airline to begin with when the times are good. They get interested even more after a filing because of past history. They don't want to be seen as not watching over an operation going down the tubes. You and I both know there is little oversite in skydiving operations. So lets compare apples to apples. Roger selling one of his otters? Yep, sure is. I continue to jump his planes. I make my own decisions. I've left bad operations before. Believe me, I have no quams about doing it again if necessary. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125

Then I'm sorry I implied that they HAD "shitty maintenance". I said "might have trouble". I would say that Hooknswoop's assesment is best. It seems to sum up what I could not. Thanks Derek. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125

Ouch Kevin. I don't remember posting anything like that.

Gossip? I posted facts. I think that with the IRS, Dept. of the Treasury, and the Security and Exchange Commision involved I'd say that's pretty significant. And you know, someone told me something similar to what you just said just before 5 of my friends were killed in a 206 crash a year after I left that bad operation. Said "shut up and jump". Yah, and then they died. 5 years ago this past March 21st. I said to myself no more. I will not shut up anymore. I will let people know what information I have. If it is factual. They will know. Everyone posts here periodicly, "What make a plane fly?"......Answer: Money. Guess what. During bankruptcy you ain't got much money. Jason, my pointing out your team is a frame of reference. You posted the link to your team in your profile. I doubt you needed reminding of who your team mates are. But, as it is, Matt worked at SDC for awhile so he knows what kind of pilot I am. That's fine that you think that I'm out of line for posting facts. Maybe we should just burry our heads in the sand again so we can have a repeat of 1999 where we lost 27 people in 6 different accidents. I care not to see that again. People should be aware. People should use prudent judgement. That is all. Chris Schindler www.diverdriver.com ATP/D-19012 FB #4125

It's no secret that aircraft operations have cut on maintenance when in financial straits. It would not be the first time. It wouldn't be the last either. I left an operation that stopped paying the mechanics. They stopped working on the aircraft. Not saying that's what is happening here. But people should keep their eyes open. That is all. It's tough enough to fix planes these days with the slow down in operations. But when your parts supplier is one of the ones filing as a "creditor" it might be tough to get parts when needed to fix your aircraft. And there aren't a whole lot of Twin Otter suppliers out there.
