Last night I was grading a writing assignment that I gave to my fifth graders. They are learning English and are not grammatically correct. However the meaning behind this paper nearly left me thinking what an impact kids have on everyone so I decided to share... Written by Margarito (an eleven year old in my fifth grade class) In the future I am going to be in the Air Force. I really don't understand how any skydiver (well, I'm sure thier are a few saints who fall through the sky) can say they haven't done worse than any politician. Come on people do you really think bashing anyone on a web site is going to do any good? Most of us have done far worse things than any politician could do to get criticized for. All of the politicians have done things that we have not (nor do we know about) and have not been criticized because every politician does them. When it comes down to it no one is a saint. We have all done things that might be controversial to others. I really don't care about the sex life of any politician and quite honestly I am sick of hearing about it. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

I believe there is good in everything. I do not believe in an organized religion. I do not criticize those who believe differently than myself. Each one of us finds peace in something, religion, skydiving, maybe both. I feel that each person has a right to believe what they want to believe, that's what gives each individual his or her own peace. I for one have peace in all that has been given too me and am okay with the fact that I don't know exactly how it got here. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

My 1000 return will be paying off the credit cards I maxed out in Eloy. What sucks is that most of that was for renting a car. Since I had such a good time I can't complain. I figure if I had fun doing it it's worth the money. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

Be careful when signing waivers at different dz's in the states. I had to hide the fact that I was diabetic at a lot of dz's. I make sure the people I am jumping with know but I have had people look at me funny when telling them I am diabetic. I usually just avoid the part about medication and so forth cause I am on so many meds but I don't make my condition openly known to all. I am not sure exactly what the rule states but I have seen it on another thread. I doesn't state right out that diabetics can't jump but we fall under the "people who could loose control" catagory according so some. I might be more of a liability issue than anything. Not to worry but don't be overly friendly about your condition. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

I have been told by numerous people not to jump when sinuses are hurttin. It can cause lots of problems with not only breathing but hearing as well. One of the ways I have delt with this, cause my sinuse pressure is not that bad, I can handle the plane ride up. Is to do hop and pops from altitude. This way I can still skydive, work on canopy skills, and not have the quick pressure change mess me up. Good luck with the surgery. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

I see your from Canada. What are the regualations for jumping with Diabetes there? Any? I am technically not sopposed to jump according to FAA but I figure I know my body best and take careful control of things when I'm not feeling well. I could see piloting a plane because of the long duration but I have never had a low last longer than a 1/2 hour.[email] Before jumping I always check the sugar levels Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

I'm also diabetic, type 1. I drink moderately and find I just have to keep closer taps on the bs levels. It usually effects me the next day with incredible lows so I usually don't jump that day. Needless to say I don't drink a lot cause I rather skydive. The insulin pump has made a world of difference for control and ability to eat what I want. If I want to drink it's made control a lot easier as well. Just wanted to give you the info. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

I am going to visit him in NC and we're gonna go to Raeford to hang out though. Quote Raeford is a blast!!!! And I second that motion of hitting the Coconut Monkey Spa and other stuff that I missed . It's a blast! Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!
