    I know what you are going through, I work with kids in Aurora IL. Most of mine are from broken, low income homes with loads of problems that I had nothing to do with. First, and I am sure you know this, don't take it personally. I had a kid do something similar to me and I stood him aside and called his bluff. I told him that I know what he was doing and why he was doing it and that he would only get out of my class when he proved he was ready for the "real world". I basically told him that I wasn't going to turn him in reguardless of his behavior. Although we all know that in every situation that is not always true but at least the kid responded somewhat positively and we made it through the year. Hope this helps and best of luck.     Val, I'm so glad you started this. I guess the only thing I can say is this: Sex is like air, you only struggle if your not getting any. As far as relationships go every meeting is a relationship. It depends on how much time you choose to spend with a person that will determine if it is personal or not. I am rather disappointed by those in a relationship thinking that everything is 50-50. Relationships are not 50-50 they are 100-100. If both do not believe that then the relationship will struggle. I love it when people are open and ambitious and I have never felt offended when someone showed interest in me, regardless of the situation. Just remember everyone, their is always a choice on your part even if he/she is just trying to get in your pants. Some women, believe it or not, are anti-relationship. When it comes down to everyone is just looking to feel cared for and have fun. Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    I'm flying in and renting a car. I may bring a tent but I hear it's going to be cold at night. I was thinking that I would sleep in the car untill it got unbearable then move to a hotel for a few nights. I have to keep this trip to a low budget. When I am insanely tired and can't jump I will then move to a hotel to catch some good sleep and recharge for the rest of the week. Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Hey Baby, I'd pick you any day! Can't wait to see you next year. Any ideas for places to stay. Should I be worried that I am traveling 1000 miles away from home and may have to sleep in my car? Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    ...partied with Britt!! If your still watching Britt I lost your number and I am sorry I didn't get to take you to see Wrigley Field. It was amazing how much I was able to do with a broken arm. I found no part of boredom and was able to jump once (but decided to stop after biffing in on the golf cart parking lot). I think I was one of the few girls there with a broken arm so I'm sure many of you can pick me out. The WFFC was a new experience for me and everything I heard about withdrawls and such afterwards is true. I loved every minute of it!!! More Rantoul!! Heather

    Welcome!!! I know how you feel about being a student. It really can suck at times but learn all you can and don't ever stop. I started jumping last year and now have close to 100 jumps and I am still learning a ton of info. The great thing about this sport is that we are always students in one way or another. Just when you think you've got everything you need in one discipline yourself or someone else starts changing the rules. I strongly believe that we will never stop learning in this sport. Blue skies!     Many times I haved gazed at the screen watching others post items. It took me a while but I am finally here with you guys now that I know how to work everything. I'm not great on the computer but at least I am trying. I have been jumping in Hinkley since September of last year. I agree with all that I have heard about the wonderful people and communities formed by skydiving. I have visited eight different dz's over the past six months and have not found one that I did not like. I have learned that when you skydive you always have friends. Shortly I will be moving to Houston and hope to discover the great things Texas has to offer. If anyone currently has a dz that they jump near Houston I would love to hear from you. Thanks!     I remember you guys. I was there with some Chicago friends. One of my friends hooked up with you guys and we spent the entire next day at 7-Eleven so she could puke in the bathroom. We were scheduled to drive back that day but other things took priority. What did you guys do to her? The party was a blast! Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    I know how you feel. I started jumping in Sept. at Chicagoland Skydive in Hinkley. I have been to many dz's in the past six months (Chicago weather sucks during the winter months). Every one I have been to has treated me the same. If your a skydiver you always have friends. If your ever in Chicago check out Chicagoland Skydiving Center. It's a smaller DZ but full of personality. Welcome! Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!
