    I guess I look forward to sharing my skydiving interest with someone else. I already share it with friends but I'm looking for a little more. I spend so much time at the dz that I don't see anyone else tolerating that but another skydiver. I don't limit myself to skydivers but don't see myself with someone who doesn't enjoy the sport. A relationship will last only as long as the people involved let it last. Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Thanks Smooth. Don't get me wrong here, of coarse I know that some skydiving guys date. Many women have said they don't even try to date skydivers because they are not after anything other than getting them into bed. I see where that is true with some men but I know that is not a fact for all men. Our dz is small and the few I have (and currently) are involved with don't want to be involved. I am opening this question up to a larger community to find out what the case is on a larger level. I know that nothing is set in stone when it comes to this question, people change their mind frequently. I am just interested in what people think to have a general idea. Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    I am trying to find out if guys in the skydiving world really date. I have been single for some time and have been given different advice about dating skydiver guys. I have gotten involved with a couple people but neither seemed to be interested in anything long term. Many of the guys I speak with are not interested in dating anyone. Now I am trying to find out if this is typical of the men in skydiving or not. Maybe I am just meeting the wrong ones. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Doing something I never thought I could do. I find my social calander and my career make that somewhat of an easy accomplishment. Looking at it that way it explains why I am always so happy! Whoo Hoo! Thanks Val! H Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Wondering when this would come up. I think S/O2 will be okay with S/O1 being here. In fact I think he already knows. Tell him anyway, it will make things easier on both of you down the road. Since I know all involved I my opinion is to tell S/O2 now so at least he knows you're thinking about him. Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Nathan and Lisa are officially married!!! Their wedding was in Las Vegas on Monday. Lisa was absolutely beautiful and the party was a blast!!! Congradulations you two. Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    OTOH, I thought it would be funny if the paris hilton show was on a DZ instead of a farm. COuld you see those girls trying to pack parachutes all day? teehee..... How much would they have to pay us for jumping their pack job? However the thought of watching that may be worth it, the canopy is ment to fly, right?     That would have to be Skova from Chicagoland Skydive! Many may not have the opportunity to meet him since he has been kicked out of the country. Love ya hot sky guy! Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Just found the date. Sorry didn't read far enough down. If there is a need for more drivers I will get the car earlier. I have lots of experience climbing but am really not that great of a climber. I spent most of my climbing days belaying kids at Devil's Lake in WI (the best midwest climbing around). I am great at teaching (that's what I do). If people need a belaying class I could help with that. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    Just wondering how the ride situation would work. I was debating renting a car, if we climb after new year's day then I would be able to drive. If we have enough drivers I'll skip renting the car and would go any day. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!

    I never thought there was a right or wrong answer to if you should or should not be single. I always looked at it as taking the opportunity if it comes. No one wants to be in a relationship that makes life horrible. If you find the right person go for it, you have nothing to loose. If you don't find the right person still enjoy life. If you look at it that way it's a win/win situation. Heather Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!
