    I was there at freeport in 84.. seems like both happened back to back.. not 20 minutes..I recall one the girls was Mary Bacon. meet her at Musokgee OK at Nationals I was in the plane where the girl got knocked out on exit. Got down....got my other rig and was in the flagged loading lanes when the other girl went in. I watched that one up close. I agree with the 20 minutes between.     [replyI have made mistakes in judgement myself but at least I am willing to learn from the countless people who have died skydiving. They arent countless....we've known every one of them, why they died...the causes, the whys and wherefores. Some people just wont listen to facts and after a time it becomes pointless to have the same conversations with the same people...different faces....year after year. bozo Pain is fleeting.     Can you cite the law(s) you are referencing? I would like to know one state that has a law on the books that regulates minors skydiving. (NOT the liability protection granted by state laws that limit lawsuits, but a law, as you state, that grants or revokes the right of a business to offer skydiving services by age.)     I know of at least one DZ that requires photo ID for each ist jump student regardless of age. But hey, I had fake ID when I was 17 and I am sure there are lots of DZs that don't check.     In the mid 80s before camera helmets became so compact, a buddy of mine was jumping his brand new 2000 dollar camera and helmet for the first time. He was going to film a four way for us out of our Queenaire. He crawled out rear float ,we exited. He came in and docked.....without the helmet. He had forgotten the chinstrap and he lost that heavy bugger as soon as he left the plane. Luckily the spot was good...the helmet was found literally exploded on a dirt road a couple hundred yards from the peas. Pieces and parts were scattered for ten yards diameter. bozo Pain is fleeting.
