Ever try Methadone? Thats what you get when all the others quit working. Its a shitty way to live. I have had three friends...skydivers....take their own lives in the last five years because they couldnt live with the pain anymore of their injuries.     I think there are plenty of circumstances in which suicide is an understandable option. Blues, Dave ---------------------------------------------------------- Anybody that doesnt understand someone who lives with chronic pain, thats never going to go away, needs to try it for a day or two.     Why is it that every one of these posts has some one under say 500 jumps, saying that you are going to get more out of AFF. Then right after, you have some one with 2000 jumps posting, all hoping mad, the exact opposite. --------------------------------------------------------- Doug...relax. so far i'm the only poster here with 2000+ jumps and I agreed with you. bozo Pain is fleeting.     Man...you got a great deal. The X210 was a cutting edge hi-po canopy back when it was built. If I remember they also built one called the Simoom. Security went one better and built the X210R reserve. It sure was a lot smaller and light then the Cirrus 5 cell I replaced it with. bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever. Chicks dig scars.

    Not a problem, Bozo. Have a good Christmas. One draw backs of being in the military, I'm sure you remember, is that family is usually a thousand miles away. (Sometimes that's just not far enough) -------------------------------------------------------- Yes Joe.....I remember what its like all too well, at the Holidays.     A very long time ago at an unamed dropzone I was jumping student gear as my brand new Unit had a broken steering line. As luck would have it the XL30 main exploded on opening......tore the lateral band in two. I popped the capewells and cutaway, did my best to stable out and dumped the belly reserve. When I got back to the dz...it was a long walk....one of the pseudo rigger/instructors told me the DZO was gonna be pissed.....that particular reserve had been one of his display rigs and had been packed for like 5 years. I asked the dumbass why they had given it to me. All I got was a blank stare. Boy I fucked em though....I didnt pay the 5 dollar gear rental. bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever.
