But then by defintion it wouldn't be a "bandit jump". To make a real bandit jump you need to risk arrest, jail, and/or confiscation of your gear. "In the olde days" (oh god, here he goes again), we used to jump into a local store parking lot to buy beer in the afternoon ------------------------------------------------------- Heres another one. If you look in the lastest issue of Parachutist you will see the article about the pioneers of our sport. In one pic they are standing in front of a bar. 11 years for me too. Ive done em all....nortryptiline worked the best but it fucked me up beyond belief. I went the pain management route also. All those people are is drug dealers.....good stuff....but it all has its costs. Theres no answers. Ive had the surgeries and all the drugs...I still hurt. They have you maxed out on meds. Try not to use that shit during the day. You still need to live your life. I hurt all the time....bad.....but thats just the way it is. I use two 10 Vics at nite to sleep and thats all I use. The days get pretty long....but as you already know.....its either you suck it up or stay whacked out of your mind. I broke L1 crushed L2 and broke L3 had all the same metal implanted as you describe. I have made over 1500 jumps since then. Anything is possible if you can take a little, or a lot, of pain. bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever. Chicks dig scars. -

I was witness to that one in 1986. Both guys impacted about 200 feet from where I was packing, and with the collective gasp rising from the ground as they entangled, it was very hard to miss. I had done some DC3 jumps with one of the guys a day or so before. 359 It seems like it was the womens lingere load that he crashed into and entangled.
