    Ticks dont burrow in with their whole body.....just the head. Have someone pull it out with a tweezers as close to the head as you can. While its sucking your blood it could be infecting you.     I think I mentioned above (and Lena kind of affirmed), the landing area is reported to be off the south end of the runway. We're not talking Hollister type shuttles here, it's only a half mile or so. And with that, I'm off work for the next 10 days. Blues, Dave HAHAHAHA i'm off work forever.     The number of jumpers with low experience would probably be few. And you can stage the opening altitudes at various heights, so that not everyone is trying to land at the same time. No big deal. Putting 100 jumpers of varying ability into an area the size of a football field is asking for problems. Staggering the opening works well when you know your team.     After I bounced I was in rehab for a couple months. Everybody there knew I was a jumper. One day i'm on a machine doing some bullshit exercise and this guy about my age in a wheelchair rolls up. He says youre the jumper huh ? I say yeah I guess so. He says I was a jumper....I jumped in the Nam with the Big Red One. I say....whatya doing jumping with a leg outfit ? He says....whats a leg ?     Raindrops fall at approximately 60 mph. A skydiver falls at 120mph. Those little hard bits of water are hitting you at 60 mph.....hell yeah they hurt.     sounds like an oxymoron to me.. first jump "alone" with a TM or first jump "alone" with two AFF instructors I have always thought that first jump 'alone' meant you stepped off the plane all by your lonesome - as in S/L or IAD. No one around to save your ass except yourself. Didn't matter how many friends were in the plane with you. I think a different level of temerity is required to do a first jump 'all by yourself' with no one around to help you as opposed to going to the DZ all by yourself and doing a tandem or aff jump. . I checked out a link somebody sent me with regards to Skyride..it was for Skydive Henderson , Nevada. I just recently moved from Henderson , Nevada and am quite positive there is not and has never been a DZ there.
