    Jeannie...this is so similar to the Tooele crash a few years ago.....a long weekend jumping....flying back in the dark....they were tired and didnt even have their gear on.....probably using it for pillows.     BEER ? Damn, try to do a nice thing and all I get out of it is owing four cases of beer. (there are four first's already listed) I learned with all my traveling to always have a case with me, I pay my beer debts and then some.

    I don't really get this post. The Navy doesn't have "MOS" and SEALS are selected for training from a variety of ratings. I think all he is saying , Kelly , is that the guy had a different rate....not a SEAL...and signed up for BUDS so he could become one to join the team, which to my thinking would have been way down the road anyway as SEAL training isnt an overnite school. bozo Pain is fleeting.     Man o man...that last pic brought back some memories of the old North Las Vegas drop zone. Packing on the grass under the trees....blankets laid out with the wives/girlfriends and kids.     A long time ago when I was in Navy bootcamp they had an outbreak of bacterial meningitis and several young sailors died. We had to get shots and several of the companies were segregated thruout their training, 9 weeks, just in case. They had us leave the windows in the barracks open 24 hours a day so supposedly the bacteria couldnt build up in the sleeping areas. The fog always rolled in about 3 am and soaked us to the skin in our racks causing lots of colds and a few cases of pneumona. bozo Pain is fleeting. Glory lasts forever. Chicks dig scars.
